I like that it gives my cockatiel a comfortable place next to its wooden perch; and give more warmth in winter. I should have gotten a size smaller though.

I've read that birds can choke on the material if they chew it and birds can get caught in it and choke if it comes loose or lose their fingers on foot. They should not use this unless they are under very strict supervision. It can also encourage nesting behavior if you have a mated pair, which you may not want.

I would have given more stars but I didn't understand the full description and they were so big I had to return. More like a macaw. At least the ones I received. Even if my bird doesn't like it I still think it's a 5 star product. It's durable and soft and I'm sure you can just throw it in the washing machine, to wash it although I've never done it so can't quite speak for it.I've heard that birds really like these things but my budgie practically ignored it for about 2 months.I think he's much happier when it's not in his cell!

At first my parrot was not interested in the tent. After a while she started sitting on top of him and hanging off the side (I know she's weird). Although she sits in him from time to time, she prefers to sit on him. It's bigger than I thought so I don't think it has the warmth I was hoping for. In general, she likes it, and that's the main thing. The straps are not very thick and can be chewed, but will withstand a small bird.

I've been using it for 3 months, it needs cleaning. Our bird is a rescue bird, the red-eyed bulbul. I didn't know if she would use it but now she sleeps in it every night and it keeps her warm in cold weather. She poops on the outside when she sits on top, but instinctively keeps the inside clean and poop-free. I'm not sure how we're going to wash it. This tent is smaller and bigger than I thought. My seven week old Bobby wasn't in yet, at least when I get up. I made it so he could climb in if he wanted to and put his little feet on a flat surface instead of constantly wrapping them around the perch 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I recommend this tent for puppies. Because of its size, I took it out of its cage and threw it away. My parrots acted scared to approach him so I gave them back their place.
