Used to reduce 150 psi down to 7

we needed to reduce the psi coming out of our air compressor down to 5-15 psi for aeration of wort in a microbrewery. We needed to purchase a sanitary filter separately, but setup & connection was fairly straightforward.

No leaks and accurate

With compressor in the basement, I added this regulator to provide regulated air to the garage. Made a nice transition to Maxline.

Works perfect and affordable

Arrived very fast! Bought to connect airbrush to shop compressor. Works great! Set at 25psi on a 120psi tank and keeps a consistent 25psi without pressure drop during spray. Fast delivery and very affordable, I give it five stars.

Secondary source of moisture free air

This little guy works pretty good.The 1/4 inch size is what I was going for, as a secondary source of air used just for automotive paint. Will buy again.

Pros
  • Swapped out an old one with this. After 2 months, so far so good. I only run at 90psi.
Cons
  • The 1/2" NPT fitting may not be compatible with all air systems and may require additional adapters or modifications

Great quality in my review

Regulator worked great, was packaged very well, arrived in perfect condition. Was able to move the gauge to the opposite side to be able to mount it inline with my piping configuration. Great value.

  • The filter element may not last as long as advertised, leading to frequent and costly replacement

Worked perfect at first but leaks now if pressure is above 85-90

I didn't want to write a review until I used it for a while, it seems to be good quality. Developed a leak especially if you turn the pressure above 90lbs

Good air pressure regulator

I used this to replace my existing regulator.Install was straight forward. So far so good.It keeps the set pressure stable and there are no leaks.

its made from aluminum not plastic

Its pre-assembled and ready to go. Just attach gauge thats provided. Its a well packaged product that protects the product from any shipper. The water drain on bottom of separator leaked a little at first. Added a little water turned air back on and washed it out using air pressure and it works fine now.

Works as expected for my opinion

Works as expected. No leaks so far after about a month. I was able to flip the gauge over to the other side since I needed the flow to go the opposite way. Used thread sealant from autozone on the plug and it worked out great.

  • Very cheaply made. Leaks air! Would not buy again.

perfect for sand blast cabinet

i purchased for my cabinet sand blaster and it works perfect for collecting moisture and easy air pressure adjustment on the fly.

Low price, but high quality.

This moisture filter is doing exactly what I need it to. It removes moisture without affecting the line pressure going to my angle grinder and cut-off wheel tool. It mounted easily and is made of metal and is very solid. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I had a need for one on another compressor.

Very compact and versatile regulator/separator

Perfect replacement for a water separator/pressure regulator that got broke. Very compact design. Perfect for HVLP & airbrush use.Very versatile: mount on small airbrush compressor, mount on wall of paint booth with air leads to it and quick disconnects from it.

its a cheap air filter

lasted about 9 months for me then the valve at the base of the unit slowly started leaking. Every morning i go to use my compressor now I have to turn it back on to fill it up. i would say it did 7-10 job at removing water for me.

Good value: my feedback

Much more stout than I anticipated. The large size of the filter and regulator combo can be clunky and difficult to manipulate. Works great so far. We will see if texas humidity kills it as fast as cheaper ones.

Quality part for money paid

Seems quality built for the money paid. I haven’t actually tried it out yet as power isn’t hooked up to compressor yet. It was easy to install and was as advertised.

This product is well-made large easy to adjust easy to put together comes with nice fittings protecting all of the openings. Very impressed for the price. Also the two three-quarter inch couplers are beautiful and allowed me Excellent installation

Works great and easy to install

I bought this so I can get into air brushing. I tested it on 2 compressors, one large one with its own pressure adjustment (it lacks a vapor trap though) and one small one that was previously not adjustable. It was neat to be able to set the pressure on the small one and see it work as desired. Nicey packaged. Easy to install. Teflon tape included, but it's so thin you might want to double the wraps on the threads.
