I expected more from buying, but not the worst option.

Polar misled consumers twice: 1. On the company's website, Vantage is presented as a product for professionals, but - alas, the device is useless for pros and semi-pros. Disappointed. The watch will be useful only for beginners and amateurs in terms of creating and maintaining motivation for adherence to regular exercise, weight loss, etc. 2. The company also positions the watch as the best on the market for water sports. Alas, they are unsuitable for the analysis of swimming loads - they lie…

    Pros
    • 1. the ability to change the standard Polar intervals for cardio loading to custom ones (in the phone application or through the browser) - see photo 2 below (light background, different widths of heart rate intervals). A useful thing for those who have undergone ergospirometry and know their levels of heart rate, lactate and oxygen consumption, 2. high accuracy of heart rate determination even at high heart rates, BUT (!) only with land loads.
    Cons
    • 1. in the water / pool, the accuracy of measurement and distance, and the heart rate is poor, the data is not suitable for analysis: they significantly - by 5-7 percent - underestimate the heart rate, and, on the contrary, overestimate the distance - well, the watch does not know how to count pools normally. I am attaching 4 photos for comparison: the first 2 photos (light background) are uploading a workout from Polar Flow recorded by Vantage V, and the second 2 (dark background) are uploading exactly the same workout from Polar Beat, but recorded with a Polar H10 chest strap. In both cases, an hour-long workout was recorded in the same pool, at the same pace without stops, at the same distance (3.36 km), in the same style, only on different days. As you can see, H10 copes with "Excellent": a uniform curve corresponding to the training regime (intense stages - ups - alternate with equal non-intense - lowerings), a pronounced level of average heart rate of 151-152. And Vantage V is about nothing: a chaotic HR curve with no clearly distinguishable level of average heart rate, with deep frequent dips, leading to an underestimation of the average heart rate to 144. 2. In the water / pool, when swimming on the dial, it is unrealistic to see anything (water, glasses, constant movement of the hands), so you can not even think about the useful use of this watch on the water for professional / semi-professional purposes. 3. in land measurements (running, walking) the pace "floats" very much: you walk / run at a constant speed, and the pace readings on the clock suddenly jump up, then also suddenly fall down - see the 5th screen, the middle graph ( this is the pace with uniform unhurried walking ~ 6.5 km / h). 4. The Polar algorithm (Training Load Pro) for determining your physical condition (detraining / maintenance / efficiency / overtraining) is not suitable for professional / semi-professional purposes.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

Completely satisfied with the purchase. I don’t need smart functions in my watch: I still turn off notifications on my phone. I was primarily interested in tracking training, recovery and polar flow functionality. I took the older model solely because of the design - so the vantage m would be limited.

    Pros
    • - Design. In real life, the watch looks much better than in the photo. A small red detail goes well with similar notes in other elements of clothing and equipment. The watch has a very good build. A couple of times I applied them on the locker door in the gym - there were no traces left. I put a protective glass on the screen immediately after purchase. Keep in mind that after that it becomes difficult to use the sensor - I control the buttons. - The watch has a nice silicone strap, which does not sweat the hand. - In running training, they accurately measure the pulse: they really rarely underestimate. Before each workout, I recommend washing the sensor with soap and water. - Water protection is confirmed - they wash without problems. - Sleep and recovery are considered quite good compared to huawei and xiaomi fitness bracelets. Here, when the clock shows that the sleep was good, there really is enough strength during the day. If it shows that the sleep was poor, it may make sense to exercise lighter. - Statistics after jogging are sufficient, on its basis we can draw conclusions about the training process. - The battery lasts for a week without any problems.
    Cons
    • - Synchronization with the phone is carried out mainly manually. Sometimes the watch has time to transfer something to it during the day, but, basically, I just synchronize the devices in the morning and evening. - Synchronization is really long. - One night the clock did not count the sleep. - There are really few advantages over vantage m: design, running power and orthostatic test, which requires a strap. - A meager choice of dials, you can not install new ones. - There is a feeling that the watch overstates the data on the distance traveled during the day by 20 percent. - Strength training, even if it was very hard, the watch is considered easy (because the average heart rate in such training is not very high).

Not exactly the product I wanted, price and quality don't match.

This watch is definitely not worth that kind of money! Maximum 15/18 cost no more. A chest sensor is also expensive in Hong Kong, a maximum of 3/4 is no longer worth it.

    Cons
    • Pulse normally does not catch from the hand at all stupid. The Ch10 sensor also blunts from time to time, it was severely torn during training. The strap was blown and it’s not realistic to buy the same in Hong Kong now (( The strap had to be sewn up🤣 The photo shows

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

In general, I am satisfied with the watch. The color display is still a plus, as a quick glance at the watch is enough to understand which zone you are currently in.

    Pros
    • They look very good, they sit comfortably on the hand. The price is very good compared to competitors. Functionally almost as good as previous V800s. The strap has become much more comfortable and pleasant to the touch. They measure the pulse from the hand even while swimming, although the consultant in the store said that it would not work in the water from the hand. Work with Polar H7 sensor.
    Cons
    • The screen is dim! When I twist the machine at home, the light falls on the watch a little, and even the pulse is difficult to see. During the day skiing is fine. If the hand is to see the time, the backlight is turned on, but not always. In principle, you can always press the button to turn on the backlight. "Analog" hands in the watch mode look ! It feels like you are wearing a watch for 1000 from aliexpress. The screen is smaller than it seems: wide useless frames along the contour. We are waiting for ates with navigation and notifications from the phone. For some reason, the ability to switch screens by hitting the clock has disappeared, as was possible in the V800, now only the beginning of the next stage can be assigned to this event.

    Nice price, good quality.

Don't take this hat! Just rode 40 km on a bike! And at the 23rd kilometer they just hung and still cannot come off! Not such an effect I expected from a watch for 40 thousand

    Pros
    • Everything is fine! Cool features! Accurate heart rate monitor! Lots of features for beginners and professionals!
    Cons
    • For a long time wearing a polar vantage v watch, the back cover was depressurized! And fogging formed under the glass for reading the pulse with LEDs! In fact, the replacement is not difficult, but spare parts cannot be found during the day with fire! And the service center is only in Hong Kong or St. Petersburg! And it's very inconvenient! But it’s easier to find spare parts on Garmin!

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

Definitely advise incl. and for beginners, because control the nervous system and protect against overtraining and laziness. Different pros: This is the fifth gadget from Polar. Like this line very much. I took Vantage V primarily because of its compact size, because. I don’t like big ones and greatly interfere with fitness training. Secondly, I took it because of the Polar Flow program, which seemed intuitive and informative to me. I use 9 types of training for which I set up the watch (power,

Not a good product, sorry to have spent money on it.

With my prior Polars, the M430 and the H10, I had no problems at all. I used them for about a year without experiencing any hiccups or failures. I probably dreamed about Vantage V for close to a year, yet I still wanted more. Saying I was dissatisfied is equivalent to saying nothing. People wore out their languages in every forum while debating the curvature with which the GPS gadget operates. My dear mother, how could Polar's premium flagship be put on sale with such a depraved joint? The GPS…

    Pros
    • Nobody else has this design, which in my perspective is quite attractive. a battery's life. Flow Polar service. running power evaluation at the wrist. It is quite easy to navigate how the body recovers after exercise when you recharge at night. Other features like serene, recuperation pro, and many more were developed by marketers, but I didn't find any need for them.
    Cons
    • bugs with the software. The poor performance of GPS ruined all the benefits for me. There was a sense of a raw, unfinished product. Even though the heart rate sensor on the wrist is mediocre, if you enter anaerobic or MPC zones, you are unable to escape the bib.

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

Different pros: Practicality autonomy Classic design Heart rate sensor accuracy Accurately GPS Recovery Feedback Phone notifications Price With its cons: Sometimes the connection with the phone is lost even at a close distance

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

Pros: Everything about the watch is perfect! Sports features for high altitude running. PolarFlow is still the TOP of all sports software. Garmin Connect, Apple. Health rests. Accurate GPS sensor. Autonomy at its best - 5-6 days with constantly on heart rate measurement! Excellent design - I chose it so that I could wear it in everyday life for any style. Almost all sports watches look bulky and not suitable for any style. Has some cons: Not seen. At first I thought that the GPS sensor did not

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

I took a watch to replace the M400 with a huge reluctance to switch to ANT + (and buy a sensor for a computer, change all sensors for sneakers, a bicycle). There are disadvantages, you need to be aware of them. Pros below: - Triathlon mode and multisport - The presence of a built-in heart rate (if you ran to the track without a sensor) - Fast (faster M400 accurately) finds GPS - Battery - Ability to connect bike sensors to the clock (unlike M400) - Support for BLE sensors Has cons:…

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Lightweight, the strap is pleasant, the skin breathes and the size is precisely adjustable due to the numerous holes. Look even on the female hand is not bulky. The heart rate monitor is beyond praise. Different pros: For lovers of several sports, especially running, cycling, swimming, fitness, etc. Just for active people - there are a lot of functions. The main plus is an excellent heart rate monitor and this is not the most expensive gadget. Pairing with phone and computer is excellent. There

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

I am an amateur, the displayed information is more than enough for me, the accuracy of positioning and measurements suits me. I have not yet evaluated the new declared functions for recovery after training. The watch writes that it is still collecting data and needs more training to evaluate Has some pros So far, only a couple of training sessions on skis, I like everything. It is convenient to start, stop training, during training, informatively displays the configured parameters. GPS is…

Well done, but I won't buy any more.

In the pool, the clock measures the circles and distance according to the algorithm. You don’t need to hit the water with your hand, you don’t need to push off the side as much as possible. Just set the length of the pool and swim. The watch understands two styles - crawl and brass. All normal people swim the circle to the end with one style and then another. If you do this, then the accuracy will be 100%, if you swim 10m freestyle, then on your back, then somersault, or swim breaststroke, then

    Pros
    • Friends, my review is for those who want to change their lives thanks to a competent approach to running and swimming (have not yet used it in other sports) and who want to buy, but for some reason doubt whether they need a sports watch? I have been using the watch since 02/08/19. Bought for 28,000 from an unofficial online store. A box without a film, not like an apple. Everything is easier. There is a film on the watch itself. Everybody. Open the box and enjoy. Connect with Iphone 10 minutes. The setup is easy and convenient. I didn’t have a sports watch before, I had an Apple Watch, but these are two completely different gadgets, it makes no sense to compare them. With all due respect to the apple, Polar is much more convenient for sports purposes. Who is this watch for? This watch is primarily for people who want to reduce their weight in the right way by controlling their pulse. Of course, these watches are for athletes of different levels. And this watch is not only for runners, but most importantly for swimmers. What do clocks measure? Run. Very accurate pulse measurement. At first (a month before buying Vantage) I had an H10 paired with an Iphone, so when I bought the watch I checked the readings several times. Absolutely the same. The accuracy is excellent. On the track, TechnoGym connected the H10 to the track and compared it with a watch. The pulse measurements are identical. You cannot connect a clock to a track. It is sad. Track distance. When running 10 km, the error is about 300 m compared to the readings of the track. I ran about 15 times during the use of the watch and always the difference was 300-400 meters. I think a 300 m error at 10 km is excellent accuracy. Tempo, cadence, etc. this is for the more advanced, I'm not at this level yet, so I won't write anything. Pool. Very accurate clock throughout. It is necessary to tighten the bracelet more tightly (well, of course, not so much as to pull everything, but normally without fanaticism, immediately above the bone). The pulse is measured very accurately. Distance, laps and strokes are very accurate measurements.
    Cons
    • The screen is really dim, but this does not prevent them from being used. Everything is seen well.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

I bought the watch along with the H10 chest sensor. The price, of course, is biting, but the watch makes me happy. Large reflective display. This means that the watch always shows the time, and not only when you wave your hand or press a button. And the brighter the lighting, the more contrast the picture. In dim lighting, the picture is also dim, but there is a backlight. In terms of the standard functionality of smartwatches, it is rather meager. No apps, no choice of watch faces…

    Pros
    • Reflective display Glass and body are scratch resistant Serious sports performance thanks to the PolarFlow ecosystem Battery lasts 8 days (minimum 4 days in continuous heart rate measurement mode)
    Cons
    • No support for Android Wear and installation of third-party applications The pedometer is inaccurate. Especially on the stairs. I counted the steps - the phone in my pocket usually shows even more accurately than the watch on my hand. The choice of two dials, one of which (analogue) is so poor that there is, in fact, no choice Stubborn buttons.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Feedback based on monitoring the following sports: - classic skiing; - strength training in the gym; - swimming in the pool 25m; - run. I use it in conjunction with Polar H10, except for the pool, because the Bluetooth signal does not pass in the water. In water - monitoring using a built-in optical sensor with a tightly fastened bracelet. In general, I am very satisfied with the purchase, I wear it without taking it off. I train 3-5 days a week. I charge about every 3 days.

    Pros
    • - Subjectively, accurate heart rate measurement together with H10, as well as an optical method in water. - Convenient control of the heart rate zone, in the settings of typical workouts, you can set the vibration when leaving the heart rate zone. - Convenient and quite flexible profile settings for your favorite sports. - Informative, user-friendly Polar Flow cloud service that allows you to get detailed training information, plan training sessions, view achievements in other users' public profiles, or find new places to train. The composition of the displayed data depends on the sport. For example, for swimming, 100m pace, strokes/minute, SWOLF points are displayed, rest time and water temperature are recorded. - They are not felt on the hand, the bracelet is comfortable. - The brightness of the display was fixed in one of the ates, I'm absolutely satisfied. - In the latest firmware, notifications from the phone were added (notifications, messages, calls); - The screen is scratch resistant; - Adequately monitors daily activity and sleep; - Firmware ates about 1 time per month, new features.
    Cons
    • - Non-critical flaw, however, the software for synchronization with the cloud service via a personal computer is problematic. Empirically, I found that synchronization starts successfully if you restart the computer with a pre-connected clock. Official technical support accepted the request for correction, but has not yet responded. It syncs through the phone without any problems. - Swimming styles (freestyle and backstroke) are sometimes erroneously determined in the pool, no more than 50m. I do not consider it a critical flaw, it will probably be fixed in future versions.

    Wanted please - disappointed

The software for this watch is not yet finalized. Many features are missing, such as screen brightness and display time, to name a few. I'm disappointed. I wore the V800 for years and loved the watch - I still have it today. The quality is better than the Garmin Fenix I currently have because I can adjust things like screen brightness. Polar makes great products but even after 4 years of making the V800 they haven't had enough time to develop the software. This is just an unacceptable and…

I swim 3-4 times a week; somewhere between 9k and 20k yards. In the summer I swim in the sea to prepare for a 10k race or other open water event. I used to have a Polar V600 and liked it for many years. I've been using Vantage V for a week now and I love it. Heart rate and swim distance tracking is better than my previous wstch.
