Portable External YMY Compatible Chromebook Review

This CD/DVD reader/writer works great. It is fully compatible with my Windows 10 PC. I plugged it into one of the USB ports and it was recognized immediately. It reads CDs or DVDs with no problems and burns both CDs and DVDs with my burning software. again no problem. I am very happy with this external drive. I give 5 stars!

For what it is it works well. I like how it connects to both USB-C and USB-A ports. It draws power from the device it's connected to and works great on both Windows and Linux. I'm assuming a Mac would be fine too, but I don't have one. While I appreciate that the device is 100% plug and play, all you get for the money is just a burner. I haven't tested the writability of this device as I have no intention of ever using it for that, so I can't confirm how it would perform in this specific case . As an easy to install external drive, I will rarely use it, mainly to install some software that I still have on the CD, it's very convenient. Hard drive installation did not become an event. So many people on Revain don't read the description and then are shocked, SHOCKED I tell you! The product is no more than described! I have a new laptop without a built-in DVD/CD. I connected it to an already installed hard drive and opened explorer. And no kidding, there was a disc. I opened several files, no problem. For me it was the perfect solution. So IF you have read and used the recipe, if you know enough to understand what the description doesn't say and it suits your needs, go for it!

The page specifically states that this will work with a Chromebook; forget it's not true, it's not true my cb doesn't even know he's there. I want my money back for this junk!
