Great odorless lube

I was looking for a non-toxic, odorless alternative to what I was previously using. The M-Pro7 Lube/Protector is exactly what I was looking for (as is their cleanser). Other products I've used have odors that last for several days, and some of them weren't entirely safe either. I didn't have this problem with the M-Pro7. I really like this lube/preservative and also use their cleanser. I really want to stop using dangerous or smelly products. M-Pro7 products also offer high performance, which…

Good product in Tools & Equipment

I have been using this material for many years. I have tried many lubricants/cleaners over the last ten years. I like the thickness of this material and the bottle doesn't leak. The only lube I like better is Slip 2000, but those bottles leak everywhere. I've fired 1000 rifle shots with a thin coat of this stuff and it hasn't dried out or cracked. My main concern is protection against rust and corrosion. In this case, too, this material is ideal. I live in Arizona and I sweat over my clothes…

Great oil, bad bottle

So that's a simple overview for me and my usual verbose personality. This oil is EXCELLENT. The reason I give 4 stars is because I am an avid shooter and have used almost every oil you can use and this is by far the best. That being said, it has a huge problem, or at least the one I got. I put this in one of my boxes and put it on the floor like I do with every bottle I buy and after a week I wanted to use it and most of it was gone for some reason. I haven't had that in 20 years. The lid was…

May work for some. However, watch out for unusual discoloration of parts.

I bought this because of all the good reviews. I was wrong. Firstly the bottle is rubbish, it spilled on my toolbox and I found it leaked out of the nozzle part. Secondly, I applied this to my 10/22 after the usual removal and cleaning, only to find after 3 days that this material had completely discolored the stud. I thought maybe it was an accident so I kept cleaning and applying a very thin coat to the breech and receiver. In fact, after 3-4 days a layer of yellow-brown liquid appears on the

Solidifies into a greenish-brown slime. Unacceptable.

I've read a lot of really good things about the MPRO-7 LPX but to be honest I don't get it. It works well as a lubricant, but will still set into a brown jelly at normal room temperature. If I shake it it liquefies again and seems to work fine, but as a gun lubricant I don't understand how it works. I can't imagine pulling out a gun and then shaking it violently for a few seconds before it's ready to use. It seems to hold up well as both a lubricant and protectant, but this tendency to thicken…

The best gun oil

I've been using M-Pro7 products since their launch; Gun cleaner and oil regularly and copper remover as needed. There is no better product line on the market than the M-Pro7. with the possible exception of Bullfrog RustHunter products. However, unlike RustHunter, the M-Pro7 is odorless and I can use it at home and my wife won't complain about the smell if I want to; Not to mention that RustHunter only comes in aerosol form, which I hate. [RustHunter's gun cleaner is also available in field…
