Propper Mens Bdu Patrol Cap Boys' Accessories and Hats & Caps Review

My cap was crumpled beyond recognition and stuffed into an envelope. Yes, the cap must retain its unique shape in the envelope. On the same day I received an order for a plastic measuring cup in an 18" x 12" x 7" box. It was stuffed with bubble wrap inside to keep it from rolling around. This is the first time I have ordered a product in such a box Received packaging. Who is responsible for the packaging and what does he think? Not satisfied with the crushed lid.

If you are looking for a real patrol cap and not a fashionable fake then you have come to the right place. This is a fitted hat I wear 7 1/4 pc and the medium fits perfectly. However, if you're looking for a "strengthened and sculpted" look, I wouldn't recommend this machine as it's made out of lightweight (summer) material.

Too small! I like my old regular hats, but they obviously started making them smaller, even the cut of the fabric is different, very bad, they make quality hats!

This hat is good quality but I think a slightly better quality would have made it a more attractive product. It's not as well made as the patrol caps our military wears. Make hats better even if they cost more and it will make your customers happier.

I have bought several hats in the same size and different colors from Propper. No two pieces are alike, and the stitching throughout shows poor quality control.

I ordered a navy blue and black patrol cap. I received the navy blue but Propper sent me a black boonie hat instead of the correct one. The dark blue is great! But I won't be catching stealth rangers any time soon, so Boonie is a flop. I expected more from Proper.

PROS: This hat is decent quality. I really haven't used it much other than it really fits. The size appears to be military size, 7 1/4 which I ordered fits as it should. CONS: This scores about 2 inches, MILSPEC BDU caps score 4 inches. Very disappointing. Looks like what Castro would wear. Three stars for solid workmanship and "correct" fit. The 2 inch bill is killing me.

I bought this hat for work, the fabric is so thin the top doesn't stand up on its own so totally unusable. Don't waste money

I have several of these caps from other manufacturers but this is by far my favourite. I just received it an hour ago. I will definitely buy more of these Proper BDU caps. I definitely recommend them. If you order from Propper website you can get any color and size for no more than $7 instead of going to overpriced Revain sellers. I paid 5 dollars too much. INCLUDING if I paid for shipping from Propper. So I suggest this.

I received this hat, it wouldn't even fit on my 12 year old son's head, it's so small it will probably fit my daughter when she is 8 years old.

Bought two, one much smaller than the other. Otherwise a very nice design. This is due to the lack of a steel button that will burn the scalp if left in the sun and placed on the head.

It runs small and doesn't give in in terms of stretch. The edge/beak is short so it doesn't shade the face very well. Looks cool, but I need a function, not a form.

This is a summer weight, but I would still go with something lighter for the summer. He's really handsome, he has a beak long enough at the back to cover his neck and protect the copper. The beak is wide enough to exercise. And it's light enough to roll up and fit in your pocket.

While I'm usually impressed with Propper products, these BDU patrol caps are an exception. As others have said the material is too thin for the cap to maintain the expected "patrol cap" shape. It's like putting a rag with a bill on your head. I buy them by the dozen and wear them until there's nothing left. My favorite hat. It reminded me that I need to buy more. AWESOME and not expensive.

I came in a plastic bag and was crushed. It seemed a little light for what I expected. My suggestion is if you want it stiffer take an iron and press down to shape it or add some starch but again you run the risk of discoloring it.

The material is very thin and runs small. I also bought KBETHOS from this site which I was more than happy with, it all depends on the size of your melon. I wear a 7 5/8 so I went with MED. This manufacturer should be great. In general, there is nothing to complain about, but nothing special to write about.

The size does not match what is stated. It was too little. I bought a hat of the same size and style from another seller and it fit perfectly.

Not bad, but not great either as a lot of the seams were loose and had to be sorted out. I don't think this hat will last very long. Luckily we only need this for cases so it will work.
