The software is easy to use, even for beginners or non-experts in optics! I can do things like measure how much light comes into my objective lens (or any other part) when using different diaphragms etc., which was not possible with previous versions - it's also great that you have access via internet so anywhere around world as well now!! There are still some minor glitches here n there but nothing too bad at this price tag. Just try out first if your looking only after basic functionality…

Pros
  • Price
  • Wide choice regarding brands available
  • Easy learning curve due diligence by customer feedbacks about new features introduced recently.
  • High level support service offered directly online instead being sent off somewhere far away

Very suitable imaging simulation platform

The software is very robust in terms of design, with good precision for its price. I have no problems so far when using it to simulate images acquisition as well. It's not really easy to handle for non-experts users, but this is more due to the complexity rather than anything inherent about the program. You might learn how to use this product faster if you buy another similar tool like ImageJ or Fiji. We are working on simulations of our microscopes' image quality and their operation…

Pros
  • Easy usage interface.
  • Robustness (ease)
  • Very fast processing time per job execution compared against other tools suchas Photoshop etc., which makes performing large number jobs much quicker
Cons
  • There are nuances

Easy to use and gives good results: PSF Lab

What I like the most is that the software is very easy to use. It is very intuitive, and you can easily adjust your settings and get a good result. I do not dislike anything in particular. PSF Lab is easy to use and has many settings to adjust, which is very helpful. It is a great tool to use for calculating the point spread function of an optical microscope. I can easily calculate the point spread function of an optical microscope for various imaging conditions using PSF Lab. I use PSF Lab to

Pros
  • The quality with this program compared other programs was much better than what my colleagues had been doing previously so it made me feel confident about its capabilities when we needed high quality images from our microscopes
Cons
  • So-so
