A lubricant when performance matters

An excellent lubricant for applications requiring high speeds, loads or temperatures. I use it on all axle joints and newly sealed wheel bearings on my BMW racing cars. Not the cheapest, but I'd rather spend a little more for something that doesn't turn into water after you've done lap after lap.

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

This made it hard to tell when it was dirty. This grease is red

I use this synthetic grease to lubricate my over and under shotgun. I also use it to lubricate the throttle bodies. The old choke grease I used was grey. This made it hard to tell when it was dirty. This grease is red so it's easy to see when it's dirty and ready for cleaning.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Annoying

Great for firearms for lithium

I use this to lubricate firearms. It's heavy/sticky enough to stay in place but not sticky. It seems to be doing its job very well as there is almost no wear on the surfaces lubricated with this lubricant. If there was a downside it would be the smell. This eliminates the rather strong odor that can be unacceptable when carrying a firearm while concealed.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Nothing

Great lube! the best greases and lubes

I saw a video online of a technician removing the seals from a "sealed" bearing, removing the cheap grease provided by the manufacturer and putting in that grease. Reviews, as well as the stickiness and ability to better stay in the bearings due to this inherent property. It also has a higher melting point, so it protects better at high temperatures.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • too dumb

Don't skimp on oils and liquids.

. It's not $200 an ounce blue adamantium flake nano, it's proven quality. Whether it's repackaging Miata bearings after stripping Chinese grease off your new hubs or putting a bullet on your 1919's feeder, this stuff is perfect. Sticky, stays in place, good resealable container, VERY good performance. Just buy it.

Pros
  • . Don't waste too much time.
Cons
  • . Makes me nervous.

Its red line is good for greases and lubes

Let me start by saying that I'm a fan of Red Line products. I race with their oils and use their other lubes. And their sticky red color doesn't disappoint. I use it for high friction areas like wheel bearings, ball bearing sets and motorcycle pivots and brakes. It still uses black molybdenum for many purposes, but it's my go-to choice for important things. The consistency makes it easy to pack, although gooey like hot cheese.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • There are downsides

The container is a kind of highlight. Lubrication has been good so far.

So far so good. Easy to use. like a wide-mouth container. Release hoses are not intended for filling constant velocity joints. This container allows you to squeeze out a lot that you can actually work with, and when you need to come back for more, you don't have to fiddle with a lube-covered tube. As for the lube, I'm hoping to get 100,000 miles if it's repackaged, so my review of the lube itself could be in 5-6 years.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Just what I needed for lube and lube

Can you love lube? This stuff smells bad and if you're not careful your hands will smell like it for more than a day. Wear gloves. No for some useful information. I had to reset my CV axles as the anthers were worn and torn, but the connection was still fine. This lube worked well, is easy to apply (open hand, scoop, spread) and now my CV axles make absolutely no noise. Also, it is a red line product. So far I have only had good things to say about the red line.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Wrinkled

I used this Teraflex CV joint grease on my Jeep JK.

Teraflex supplies a full tube of lube with their constant velocity joint, but I screwed up and wasted a lot. I felt like I needed more, so I called them and the tech confirmed that the grease in the plain, unmarked tube was actually Red Line CV-2 grease. That's what it looked like to me. They offered to send me some in a tube for free after Christmas, but I just bought the 14 oz. plastic box out of it. This is great material. I highly recommend it for constant velocity joints, bearings, itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
