Type of review

In general, I am satisfied with the work of this scanner model: acceptable quality for scanning documents, convenient and understandable interface. Not to mention saving the working space: I got it plugged in (one power cable is included and it is also used for data transfer), scanned, disconnected the wire and put it away until the next use. The package includes a disk with drivers on the disk (irrelevant for a laptop - downloaded them from the manufacturer's website).

Pros
  • 1. Budget price 2. Compactness 3. Acceptable quality, as well as the ability to select the desired resolution 4. Well-known brand (the device is not the first in our family - Epson L805 has been working quite successfully for the third year already)
Cons
  • 1. Slow carriage speed.

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

A good model without unnecessary bells and whistles in the form of a slide module that is not needed in the office. Affordable price - bought for 5500. There are drivers for Windows 10. Good quality for scanning documents for posting them on the network and sending them by e-mail. To scan a photo, you need to look at something more expensive. Pros: Compact, lightweight, strict design. You can scan thick books with the cover removed. Can scan directly to pdf, tif. Very convenient…

Conducted a test freshly bought for 4400. Epson Perfection V19 scanner when saving a file with the "Maximum compression" condition (which IMHO makes sense) and with scanning parameters: 1200 dpi and 2400 dpi : * I scanned a slightly wrinkled instruction sheet on very thick A4 paper (the wrinkling is especially visible to the right and left of the middle of the sheet as "pixels"): 1. at 1200 dpi - scans in a minute, file size: 2.5 MB, resolution: 10000 x 14000 2. at 2400 dpi - scans in 7…

Pros
  • cheap, good quality, hassle free
Cons
  • until I see

There were several different tablets in the office - this one is the fastest. But the HP Laserjet 200 has better software, although not without reservations. The logic of the developers is still incomprehensible - the impossibility of setting up saving scanned copies to network storage, while the connected network drive sees without problems. It seems that the software was made by different people, because the interfaces of the software for scanning to pdf are different from the software for…

Pros
  • The speed and quality of scanning, work from a single USB cord, the simplicity of the software.
Cons
  • Raw drivers - the scanner is periodically lost by the system and is not found (only after a reboot), not entirely thought-out software, fragile material of the lid hinges.

Has some pros: Scanning quality is excellent, low height. Works without problems in win 10. With its cons: Strange software, where there is one program for copying to a printer, a second for creating pdf, a third for copying to jpeg . And, of course, it's not the fastest scanner.

I am very upset, the product is no good.

In general, the model stuck in the 90s-2022s in terms of its parameters, except that the lamp was changed to LED and the power consumption was reduced, which made it possible not to use additional power sources other than USB. I'm surprised you get so many positive reviews. Probably for many who wrote reviews, this scanner was the first in their lives. then you can still understand.

Pros
  • Didn't see! Maybe the price?
Cons
  • It seems that the improvement of stand-alone scanners stopped 10-15 years ago. Neither in terms of scanning speed, nor in terms of quality, I noticed a big increase, rather, on the contrary, the scanner began to look like a cheap craft with a primitive drive, with terrible noises and gnashing like an unlubricated cart. No traces of optimization, to increase the speed of scanning, for example, why not scan both in the forward and reverse movement of the carriage? Or at least make its reverse move faster? Those. the page is scanned and you still need to wait for the head to return to its original position in order to scan the next one. The scanner of even the cheapest modern MFP now has the best performance, and even often with a double-sided feeder. I would especially like to note the buggy and inconvenient software. It was written either a very long time ago for Windows XP, slightly "undermined" for the model, or with the left foot, not at all solid for a self-respecting company. After the last Windows ate, it generally began to freeze tightly, and in order to restore its work, you have to restart the computer. The only way to connect USB 2.0 (there is no network connection, neither wired nor wireless, which is rather strange in our time, when almost irons are already capable of this)

Unsatisfactory quality, I wont buy it anymore.

With all the merits, - alas, alas! - became completely useless when ating the next Windows 10 and mac os 102022. Now scans with a tilt. And this is not a physical problem (the carriage is warped, for example), this is a problem with the drivers. So, if you are going to work on modern OS, then this scanner is not for you. Its pros: Compact. Easy. To work with documents at home - the most it. Scans quickly. During the work (a couple of years), there were no complaints Has some cons: Completely…

A worthless product, definitely not worth your money!

I would have bought another more expensive model if I knew that this scanner is so slow to scan. For ejection. This model should not exist. With its pros: Only the size and the absence of a remote power supply. And also the price - throwing away that kind of money is still a pity, of course. Cons: Very very very! slow scan. At 300dpi, it scans an A4 page for a whole minute! This is some quiet horror. Who here wrote about fast scanning? Bought on your reviews, at least throw it away and buy…

Normal quality, you can use it.

Today, 04/30/2022, we purchased this scanner from the "official" for 6700, which is not bad. The TTX of the scanner claims to support 48-bit color (see screenshots), but the "native" Epson Scan application (its latest version 3.9.4.4) does not support 48-bit color. That is, the scanner simply does not "can" do this. Whether it's "bad" or not - everyone decides for himself, but I will mention that the old Epson 3170 tablet that was available before him, the year 2022, was capable of 48 bits.

Pros
  • Slim, connects without additional. power adapter, the price is adequate (6700 as of 04/30/2022), good quality and high scanning resolution.
Cons
  • Scans color only in 24 bits, although 48-bit color support is declared (see screenshots below).
