I bought these and a UPF rash guard because I’m tired of sunburns in missed sunscreen places. It takes less than 15 mins for me to start burning. Even on the hottest day they are ok. They dry super quickly on your body. You could probably order a size down but you’d compromise comfort and not change the look of them on your body

These are great pants. I am a red haired, freckly thing who likes to snorkel. With these and a rash guard shirt, fair people can be out in the sun all day.They are made with a lot of nylon in the fiber. This is a good thing as it holds up to salt and chlorine well (which is not true of lucra). The down side of nylon is that it does not stretch a great deal. Yeah, so these were great. I ordered a small in geometric, and am usually a small in stretchy leggings, bordering on medium. 5’7” 140lbs usually a size 6 in pants. Athletic legs and calves (skinny jeans and boots are usually tight). They fit wonderfully for a stretchy swim pant, and weren’t too tight or too loose while swimming and boogie boarding in Honolulu.
