Honestly, this is the worst smart device I've ever bought. It took me 4 days just trying to connect 4 motion sensors to the shelly cloud keeps telling me I can't connect to the device after a few seconds. Now if they are 90% connected they say they are offline and not running my procedures. Sorry Shelley, but you need to look at and learn from smart life products. Also your app seems to have been developed by a 2 year old. Nothing works as intended.

A bit tricky to connect But you don't have to buy batteries every month. I had motion sensors from Philips, but the battery only lasted a month or two. I don't want to keep sending money for batteries. Therefore, Shelly's motion sensors make more sense. I connected to Smartthings and it works great. Motion detection works when it's first triggered and detected by Home Assistant, but doesn't respond/update its status afterwards. Also, the device side loses its WiFi connection, which requires a reboot to restore functionality. Hopefully these issues will be fixed in a future firmware update. Got them between HUE and these at the last minute. I chose them because a Zigbee hub or other hub was not needed. At the same time I bought an Alexa hub and wanted to send it back before they arrived. It took me 4 hours to give up. I've had a lot of calls to tech support because they kept getting disconnected and unresponsive. Several months of disappointment. But now with the latest firmware they are fantastic again.
