SocketScan Barcode Scanner Green Charging Review

It worked for me for 7 months and then suddenly stopped working more than 1 scan at a time. This is quite an expensive thing to work even less than a year!

I have to resync this with the Shopify app frequently. It's a bit annoying when you're working with clients and have to check them out and re-sync the scanner.

Save your money - the base charger broke after 6 weeks of gentle use (just past the return date). My shop uses yellow sockets every day from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. I chose a blue socket with a stand for the office desk. Worked for 3 weeks before it stopped. The light blinks like it's charging, but it's not. And there is no support for socket clients. You leave a message and they never call you back. Is always. The base is now a paperweight. Get an outlet with a simple plug. They work.

I love this scanner! We had an old square scanner and it broke and I was frustrated at first that I had to buy a new one, but this one is so much better! Previously, you would scan something and had to press the on-screen prompt between each scanned item, but this one lets you automatically move on to scanning the next item. It seems such a small thing, but it helps speed up the withdrawal process!

I received this and had problems almost immediately. So it took me a while to figure out WHERE the problem was in the mess Bluetooth/wired products have today. I did the right thing and went to my POS company and internet company. In the meantime, I'm trying to run a business during a pandemic.
