Great for attaching paper to a board before painting. Particularly suitable for soft pastels as the surface is very smooth. But most importantly, it doesn't mess up your color perception by bringing all that BLUE into your field of view. Too bad I haven't thought about transparent tape for a long time.

Works exactly how I need it. I stick tiny tags on a small container. This narrow band makes it very easy. It has very good adhesion but can still be removed at the end of the project. It's ridiculously overpriced, but if you want a very slim band, this is the only game in town. Because of the price it gets 4 out of 5 stars.

It worked really well to fix my grandchildren's picture books. My 1 year old grandson has been tearing pages out of my 4 year old granddaughter's picture books and she loves these books. As a former librarian, I had experience repairing books. I chose this tape as it was thin and covered the gap well. It takes patience to place it while holding the book open, but when done right, it looks barely noticeable.

This tape is a miracle for teachers! I no longer need two or three packing tapes to stick on name tags and various badges. The only thing that will improve this is a portable holder/cutter. I saw a huge one that appeared to be for library books but is too bulky to carry around the classroom. Strong and wide, this band is great for teachers! Not only will I show it to all my teacher friends, but I will buy it again.

I bought this tape to use on spine labels in our small school library. I put it in a tabletop dispenser with cutting teeth and the tape is so thin that it doesn't cut straight across and rip the tape vertically down every time. The only way to use this tape is to cut it with scissors. Once cut it goes on like thin packing tape and if you apply it wrinkle-free it works great. Next time I'll spend the extra money and buy another cassette.

My use was specialized (piano repair) and for that it's the best. 1/4" width avoids support holes in the roll, ultra-thin weight doesn't enlarge edges as much as tape. Holds up well. This tape is very thin and once it sticks to itself it's done. I bought this to fix the books in my library as I was out of tape and needed it quickly. I only had to pay for branded tape because that tape breaks easily and doesn't offer any extra strength. I was fixing a book that was supposed to go back to the spine and it seemed like it would rip again if I just tugged a little (this happened when the book was being put back on the shelf).
