Not exactly the product I wanted, price and quality don't match.

I recently purchased this device, fell for a large antenna gain, hoping to get a powerful transmitter. I also wanted to buy a device in a white case. However, it turned out that in the back room of our apartment (70 sq. M.), none of the home devices (phones, laptop and TV) receive a signal from the router. Then I found out that the dBi indicator shows the gain of the antenna in one direction, while in other directions the signal can be much weaker. Antenna gain is conveniently shown in dBi for…

Pros
  • Appearance, easy setup.
Cons
  • Those. 5 dBi specifications are not true. The signal is weak.

I've been testing for half a day so far, but I can say the following: I bought this router because I needed another one, I was pretty tormented with the old Dlink DIR-400, at first setting it up for a very long time, the speed was incredibly cut both in wired and wireless connections, it constantly fell, which required very long reboot. But this one doesn’t cut at all (on a computer, about 90MB / s, as if connected directly and wirelessly, about 50MB / s), I can finally use the torrent…

Pros
  • Price, ease of setup
Cons
  • Unless the coverage area is slightly smaller than the previous one

It works, but I don't think I'll be buying it again.

Before it was 842 nd (it worked for almost a year), but after a thunderstorm it burned down and hooked the network card in the computer. Passed under warranty, promised to exchange for a new one. This 841 n bought as a replacement until they return that one. But what's the trouble, WiFi constantly disappears, it's not even possible to watch a YouTube video, then it will turn off, then it will connect. Can anyone suggest how to fix this problem. Thank you.

Pros
  • Price, strong signal.
Cons
  • WiFi drops out.

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

there were no problems with wi-fi, it gives quite a confident reception around the apartment (50 m2), the neighbor from below also clings without problems. at the same time, there are no problems when connecting any devices: 2 laptops, a tablet, 2 mobile phones - there have never been any problems. [no problems now - see below] Problems with what cuts the speed up (over the WAN). 40Mbps connection. for downloading it gives these 40 stably, for return - a pipe, even a 1mb picture to the mail…

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • cuts speed in upward direction (Upload)

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

Died. Did not live 1 month to two years. Died from a thunderstorm. The WAN port flew out (the light does not light up, the reset does not help, I did not find burnt traces on the board, and I would hardly have found it). Connected from a street twisted pair cable of 170 meters. Somewhere nearby it sparkled, apparently. It's a pity. I really like this model. In terms of stability and reliability - one of the best. At work, I have to deal with many routers zoo. Not many can boast of an uptime of…

Pros
  • Stability. set and forget.
Cons
  • Not

Average purchase, there is something to complain about.

I got it from the provider when connecting for 95. There are no problems with setting up - everything is simple, in 2022 and understandable. Immediately ated the firmware to the 20th version. Speed does not cut. However, the next day, a problem was discovered with devices connected via Wi-Fi: when the distance from the router was more than 5 meters, the connection was constantly interrupted. After reading the "Internet", it became clear that the reason is in conflicts with neighboring points…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Unstable WiFi

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

This router stands in the home server room, it works as a gateway between the home network and the provider. There are 3 servers and 5 computers in the network. The impressions are: 1. As a home rotary - set it up, threw it over the sofa, forgot - it works. 2. If you connect sources of strong traffic to the ports of the router, there are slight, but noticeable brakes and delays. The access time to the web server increases, torrents can "completely" destroy the network. Solved the problem like…

Pros
  • - Holds a powerful network load perfectly - Easy to set up - "Set and forget"
Cons
  • No for this price

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

Excellent router. I have never seen such a stable router, no kidding. For such ridiculous money, we get an unprecedented quality home network. At home, two laptops and three smartphones are connected to it, the network works confidently and stably on all devices. Only the appearance is annoying. The same TL-WR840N looks much more modern and pleasant. But I hid it behind the closet and don't think about it.)) 0 I recommend to everyone and everything!

Pros
  • - Connection quality - Range - No interruptions in work - Excellent web interface
Cons
  • - Design

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The product is very low quality, not what you need at all.

Internet drops out. At first I sinned on the installations. And I reflashed, and threw it off to the factory ones, set it up again, then generally installed everything again, reflashed it again. Nothing helped. The Internet drops out intermittently and that's it. I inserted the cable from the modem back directly to the laptop, the Internet works flawlessly, I connect it again through the router, the Internet starts to disappear. I confess, I was chasing cheapness, and I was led to positive…

Pros
  • Easy installation.
Cons
  • The Internet is constantly jumping, that is, that is not.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

I bought to replace the dead keenetic (wifi died a year later). It has been holding for 2 years already, wifi has been set to medium power - enough for the entire 3-room apartment. There are a lot of settings that are useful for me, you can make a home server for web. My wifi speed with my weak adapter is 150 Mbps - 70 Mbps, i. E. maximum for the adapter. Doesn't crash, doesn't overheat. A friend has no problems either. For this price of 1200r, the router is super!

Pros
  • price wifi transmitter power convenient menu support for port forwarding, ip binding on mac and other customization options
Cons
  • port speed 100Mbps

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, not disappointed.

put about fifty of these routers in different networks. Holds all connections, does not fall under load. This router is an excellent choice for networks with DHCP, Static IP, PPPOE connection types. Difficulties can arise with VPN-type connections. IPsec cannot be set in L2TP, MPPE cannot be enabled in PPTP (on native firmware, on dvrt it is possible, but it will decently kill the connection speed). Now about IPTV. Suitable for wired iptv use, but will freeze once every couple of days. For…

Pros
  • The speed on the wafer is provider (90-95 Mbps), it is easy to set up, do not lie down under the torrent load.
Cons
  • Not suitable for VPN networks. When using iptv, it freezes once every couple of days (it is treated with a reboot)

Revainrating 2 out of 5

An unattractive product, an unprofitable purchase.

Forced reboots of the router every 2-3 days (the firmware was the latest), uncertain reception through 2 walls, one of which is carrier (the total distance is not more than 8m). Patience ran out and the router was replaced by ASUS RT-AC51U. The price is almost 2 times higher, but 2k for a router is still acceptable money. The old one couldn’t even handle 720p broadcast on Apple TV, the new one pulls full hd without problems.

Pros
  • Price, relative uninterrupted operation of the first year 1.5-2.
Cons
  • A year and a half later, wi-fi began to fall off more than once a month. After 3 years, it happened a couple of times a day I had to reboot the router.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It was a bad idea to buy it, the money was wasted.

If you need to connect one computer through a wire, everything works. But when connecting a laptop via WiFi, the router hangs. There is no firmware ate for it (VER 11). The simplest router from Rostelecom with built-in antennas works better than this router . But it does not have the necessary function - port forwarding does not work . The old D-LINK DIR-615 worked fine, but burned out during a thunderstorm, and with TP-LINK such a setup :(

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • When connecting a laptop via WiFi, the router hangs, the Internet disappears. And not always, it happens unexpectedly. Antennas are non-removable, although this is not so important .

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall good, but I expected more, there are disadvantages.

Bought a couple of years ago. At first it seemed to work well, but then some hangs began. Resetting the settings or flashing did not help. At the same time, everything that remained on the wires worked perfectly. Recently rolled DD-WRT, and lo and behold - it works flawlessly. So the piece of iron seems to be normal, but the factory firmware is clearly allergic to something.

Pros
  • Stability on DD-WRT
Cons
  • Stability on factory firmware

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unsuccessful purchase, I am disappointed.

It does not meet the stated parameters at all. I have an old Chinese router with 2 antennas of 2 dBi, so I wanted to amplify the signal by setting TPlink from 2 to 5 dBi . TPlink turned out to be weaker. And not only weaker, but also from time to time the wi-fi signal disappeared. More precisely, the tablet caught the signal, but there was no Internet connection. Then for 2-3 hours everything is ok again, then again it disappeared for 1 hour, etc. . I tormented myself with him for a week.…

Pros
  • Appearance, easy setup.
Cons
  • Weak and unstable signal.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

I needed a router to replace an old acorp) The emphasis was on a stable and reliable connection! And not high cost! Because I know that neither acorps and other links can ensure normal operation (( In general, I did not lose with the purchase, everything works stably with my RT provider. Everything is set up by wire, the radio channel is not mine (( I tested the waffle . in a 3-room apartment - the range is good, the work is satisfactory .

Pros
  • Reasonable price, easy to set up, good transmitter.
Cons
  • If you take into account the price, then they are not.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm satisfied with it, there are only some small flaws.

In my opinion, it fully justifies its cost. It works in tandem with a whistle of the same company 3200. I download torrents constantly, the speed is about 6-7.8 megabytes. Doesn't heat up. But the speed is not maximum. I realized this when I switched from the 100Mbps tariff plan to 70Mbps. Absolutely nothing has changed in terms of speed. The maximum that it turns out to squeeze out of Wi-Fi is about 70Mbps, on average 60Mbps, so for a tariff plan of 70Mbps that's it . I did not encounter other

Pros
  • Price, easy to set up
Cons
  • Periodically it is necessary to overload (1-2 times a month), the speed for Wi-Fi is not maximum.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

took this unit for installation in the country for 1250r. There are a lot of settings, but there is a quick setup option for inexperienced users. Tested at home. At home, I broke through 2 concrete walls without losing either speed or signal level, unlike a home router (linksys e-1200). Gigabit ports and 5GHz were not needed. no hangups were noticed during the work on PPPoE. Great product for funny money

Pros
  • 1) price 2) functionality
Cons
  • not found at this price

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

I needed an access point for distributing the Internet from a dedicated line, that is, with a WAN port and preferably with WiFi N. At first I thought to take some D-Link DAP-1160 (which, by the way, is only WiFi G), since before that I used only them ( again due to price / quality), but then I came across reviews about TP-Link, in particular, the reviewed model. Before that, to be honest, I was skeptical about TP-Link, because I heard a lot of flattering reviews ("heating, breaks", etc.), but…

Pros
  • WiFi N support (up to 300M/b) Value for money Quick and easy setup Low heat 4-port switch
Cons
  • Not yet identified

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Disgusting quality, impossible to use.

Connected: Phone, laptop, appleTv, 6 wi-fi bulbs. There were problems with communication even when there was only a phone and a laptop, with the purchase of 6 light bulbs, everything generally went * - the broadcast from appleTv, the light bulbs themselves and the Internet in general, regularly fall off. I don’t recommend buying, it’s better to pay extra and buy a normal decent router, the stingy one pays twice;).

Pros
  • Not seen
Cons
  • The connection falls off, you have to regularly reboot the router, sometimes several times a day.
