It's CAT6 but traction issues.

After all, everything works fine, but when you crawl through the attic, the cables in the box are kinked. too much no for me.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Modern

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Don't worry about that. Also for practice.

Extremely fragile cables. Will break if you try to straighten the cables. There is also a plastic divider that runs down the middle of the cable.

Pros
  • Category 6 cable
Cons
  • Some small things

Good quality cables - cables and connectors

I used it for a 100ft run at home and had no problems. Be careful to keep curves and edges as smooth as possible - the hard plastic core (in all Category 6 cables) is not designed for 90 degree turns.

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

Updated Best Cat 6 Cables Review

Originally rated 1 star for slow speed. In fact, there was another cable on my network that was slowing down the speed. I made an 8 foot cable for testing and the 8 foot cable gave better speeds. One complaint was that the wires were brittle when the connector was crimped. I cut some wires twice before crimping and had to redo it. This was also a problem with the wall plate wiring. Only the wires are a bit brittle.

Pros
  • Ethernet Cables
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Updated Review: Ethernet Cable

Originally given 1 star for low speeds.

Pros
  • Color - Charcoal gray outer jacket
Cons
  • Very expensive

Ideal for wiring in living areas.

I used this ethernet cable to connect multiple rooms in a new house. It's just as easy to use/crimp and works great. The only thing stopping me from giving this a fifth star is that one of the pull rods had a significant kink/spasm from being in the box. The kink was so big that I was worried that the wires in the cable might have been cut/damaged. However, so far it works well and I would recommend it to others.

Pros
  • Material - Solid CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) 23 AWG
Cons
  • Can't remember

Lowest quality cable available, absolute junk

Cheap junk. This cable is made of Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA). Never buy copper clad aluminum (CCA), only buy pure copper wire. This cable has NO certifications, which means it's simply good for nothing. Because it's a solid core cable, you don't need to bend this cable, but when you take it out of the box, it will kink and break. Cable tests regularly fail for no apparent reason. This cable is not suitable for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). I spent a day installing 200 feet of this cable, now I…

Pros
  • Solid 4 Pair Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cables for economical use
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
