Let me summarize the majority of these review for you.

So I just received my tent after way to much research on this particular tent. I've read all the major reviews both good and bad and now let me tell you what have observed from the start.1. Yes, when the tent got to me it did have a weird fishy smell to it. Its been airing out and the smell has reduced. 2. The threading isn't perfect but id give it a solid 9.5 out of 10. For what I paid, its on par. 3. ALL of the fabric in the tent main body is very very thin INCLUDING THE FLOOR. If you were…

Pros
  • Perfect for my backpack and very light and roomy.
Cons
  • The vestibule area is not spacious enough for organizing backpacking gear

Good but needs some improvement

This tent was purchased for a recent 5 day/ 4 night hiking-camping trip into the Grand Canyon. The tent was roomy enough for one person but I feel it would be very close quarters for two; it was easy to assemble and take down with the exception of the provided stakes.I will not give this product 5 stars for two reasons. The first being every stake bent during this trip. The stakes are very low quality and would seem to only be suitable for driving into sand. The second being the bag the tent is

Pros
  • PROFESSIONAL WATERPROOF & WINDPROOF
Cons
  • The entrance may be too small for easy entry and exit

Decent little tent in my review

It works. The price was good.Pockets in every corner.I put in a double sized mattress which touch both side walls, but there was some room left in the long direction for a bag.My ten years old was able to build it (first time we used it, with a small amount of instructions from me)It's heavier then I expected, so may not be your best option for heavy backpacking.Compared to my 10 people coleman tent, the bottom feels a lot cheaper, so I am not sure how it would perform under heavy rain.Setting…

Fishy smell - my new review

Edit October 19, 2020:It's been a few months since I wrote this, and I've now put this tent through its paces. The fishy smell I originally noted was gone after a few minutes of being set up in the sun, so it wasn't an issue. It was very overwhelming at first, but dispersed quickly and never came back. The tent stakes needed replaced almost instantly, as even the smallest amount of force would bend them. The good part about them though is how light and packable they were. If you get this tent…

Pros
  • Ultralight
Cons
  • The vestibule area may be challenging to close securely during high winds

A pretty good lightweight tent

So this tent is probably one of the easier tents I've had to assemble, it's definitely doable with one person, the pics are of it assembled in my backyard so i can test it out i haven't taken it camping yet but overall it's fairly compact and lightweight there's definitely space for two people but 3 might be pushing it, one thing to note is the floor is on the thinner side so I'd recommend having a tent tarp underneath so keep it from wearing out too quickly. Also i just tested the rainfly to…

I wanted to like this a lot.

I was so excited to get this set up on my first backpacking trip. It's not the lightest you can get, but it's definitely manageable to hike with.We had rain on our trip, and for the first couple of hours, we had no issue. The problem was a consistent moderate rainfall. I'd say this would be great for a short rain, but it will start to transfer moisture after a few hours, unfortunately. We set up the tent in a flash - it really is super easy. With that being said, however, I wasn't expecting this

Pros
  • ‎2 Person
Cons
  • The tent may not be as durable as other options in its price range

NOT A 4 Season Tent!

Okay, to be fair - here are the positives:Designed for easy setup - I actually got this thing set up in the dark, using only my truck's headlights for illumination - although the instructions are extremely hard to read in low light. The pole system is easy - just pull it apart and connect it all together. Should be easy enough to figure it out from there. The stakes are extremely good quality - I only bent one of them pounding into the ground. Coleman should use these. The fabric is not something

Pros
  • Camping & Hiking
Cons
  • The tent may be prone to condensation during colder weather

Survived a Winterstorm

I've used this tent on two separate camping trips thus far, and have been incredibly happy.Trip 1: 15-hour winter storm - a downpour of rain and snow. Our tent held up to wind and rain - we were completely dry. Three of our friends got flooded out in their tents, and one ended up having to pack up in the middle and leave due to it.Trip 2: very nice weather and so we took the rain cover off the second night and with the mesh roof, enjoyed starring at the stars before we went to bed. What also…

Pros
  • ‎5.5 x 5.5 x 16.5 inches
Cons
  • The tent's rainfly may not provide adequate coverage during heavy rainfall

Major design flaw on aluminum connector

I took this along on my first ever 21 mile, three day backpacking hike with my boys in the Smokies. I tested it by setting it up beforehand, but using it for the first time on the trail, one of the two main circular aluminum knuckle-type connectors no longer held the poles because two of the three holes became elongated and the poles would easily slip out, rendering the tent unable to stand up (see picture: one on the right is the flawed one, one on the left is for comparison). It appears to be

Pros
  • The waterproof and windproof design of the Forceatt tent ensures that camping in inclement weather is worry-free, allowing for a comfortable and peaceful outdoor experience
Cons
  • The tent may not be spacious enough for three individuals and all of their gear
