Cheap Manufacturing! UNSAFE

As you can see in the photo, the size of the step stool is unimpressive. Cheap materials. What’s most concerning is the screws that attach the upper and lower portion of the stool protrud out of the wood! And they want your kids to step on splintered wood! DO NOT BUY

Pros
  • Encourages healthy eating habits by involving kids in meal preparation
Cons
  • The wooden construction may not be durable enough for rigorous use

Works well but made some modifications

This stool is worth it for the cost. The back bar does not provide a lot of room for a toddler to get their head through, so we took it off so that he can easily get up and down. The wood pieces are all a little different looking, so it probably better to spray paint the whole thing one color for a better look. Compared to other stools though this is a great deal.

Pros
  • Product is fun for kids and parents
Cons
  • The stool requires a significant investment for a short-term product

Duplicate parts on my review.

Received item as a gift for daughters first birthday and go to put it together and come to find there are 2 duplicate items and so it is unusable. Really disappointing

Pros
  • Absolutely love this stool for our 18 month old toddler!! Very sturdy and easy to clean!
Cons
  • I like it but it did come broken:(Not the most expensive but it works(:

LOW QUALITY. for my opinion

Edges aren’t smoothed and corners aren’t smoothed. Has a gap. Should have looked at the dimensions because it’s small and hard to crawl up under the bar. Returned.

Pros
  • Encourages curiosity and exploration
Cons
  • The stool may not be as durable as plastic stools

Pictures aren’t accurate

The product is okay the color of wood I ordered is off to what I received as well as I had to go in and make some of the holes bigger because it didn’t go together like it should. I would say to keep looking for something better and better quality.

Pros
  • Muy útil para mi nieta
Cons
  • Broken handle, gap behind the step, and it wobbles.

The brown/cherry color was delivered and looks very brown-orange, not matching the photo. The assembly kit also came with a couple of missing screws.

Pros
  • Customizable to suit any kitchen height or design
Cons
  • The stool may not be practical for parents who frequently cook with their children

Not worth the money

I bought this item twice, the first time I came with broken pieces. The second time it actually broke while my child was climbing up. I would definitely order a different brand as it is unreliable

Pros
  • Encourages creativity and imagination
Cons
  • The stool may tip over if children lean too far on one side

Sturdy Step Stool best in my review

This step stool is useful for my toddler. When I am cooking, I put her inside. Now she can’t enter by herself, but I believe she will be sooner. It’s sturdy ,safe and easy be assembled. I like it very much.If the top platform is adjustable, it will be perfect.

Pros
  • Improves social skills and interaction
Cons
  • The wooden construction may not be hygienic enough for some customers

Wishalife does not respond to customer emails

I tried to assemble the step stool for my granddaughter but had a problem tightening the first screw. While I was focused on getting the screw in properly, my puppy grabbed a piece and chewed the end. I have repeatedly tried to contact Wishalife without response. Meanwhile the unit is useless! The product seems sturdy if I could get it assembled but the customer service is terrible!

Pros
  • Storage & Organization
Cons
  • Wish it didn’t come pre destroyed

Not worth the money

Someone did not make this properly. Definitely not worth the money. I had to make custom adjustments to make it work. The bar part that keeps the child in it’s always loose . A lil scary

Pros
  • Furniture
Cons
  • Not suitable for larger families with multiple children

It will break on you.

Broke. Toddler knocked it over. It broke. I had it all tightened correctly. Lasted three whole days. Extremely disappointed.

Pros
  • Helps children develop independence in the kitchen
Cons
  • Not suitable for children with mobility issues

Bought it to make home decor. Unfortunately the holes don’t line up making it VERY challenging to assemble. Glue came in glued with some of the already put together pieces. For the price I would have purchased a different one. Also wish the stand adjusted height as well. Oh well my loss.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble, very sturdy, and my daughter loves it!
Cons
  • Don’t buy it.

Serves its purpose, but I wouldn't buy again!

Instructions are pretty lame (expected). The paint job on the pieces is crappy. I figure I could strap paint it if it is that bothersome. Moving on. Put all of the piece together (correctly) and there are huge gaps between the base of the tower and the small platform step. I don't think it will affect the utility of the stool, but the pieces should fit correctly! Not worth the time taking it apart and sending it back, but I wouldn't purchase again.

Pros
  • Teaches basic arithmetic skills
Cons
  • The stool's design may not be cozy enough for some families

Broken piece good for me

unfortunately I bought this in advance (8months ago) and opened it out of box just recently to find I can’t use it nor request a new item being it came broken super disappointed. One of the legs came broke :(

Pros
  • Adjustable height design to accommodate growing toddlers
Cons
  • Assembly can be complicated and time-consuming

Side piece was not attached very well and nearly came off

The side pieces seem to be held on with just a single dowel rod and glue. The glue came undone and the piece would spin freely. After time it became worse. Had to be repaired with a couple of braces.

Pros
  • Helps children feel included in family bonding activities
Cons
  • There is no seatbelt or harness to keep children secure while using the stool

Broke second day - cheap materials - DANGER to kids

This broke on the second day and my toddler nearly fell to the floor from 3ft up. Perhaps one of our parts was defective, but overall the construction of the base seems to be with low-value materials (particle board and cheap dowels) so I worry that it's just a bad product. Curious to see how customer care handles my issue. Without a solid connection at the base in this one corner, the entire structure folds up like a collapsed cardboard box when she climbs up it. Not safe!

Pros
  • Helps kids develop a sense of ownership over their creations
Cons
  • The stool may be challenging to clean effectively

Perfect kitchen helper for toddler

Love that my 15 month old can "help” with meal preparation and dishes, easily assembled and may be used as a template for making a tower of our own, sturdy and the no slip sheets easily applied and fit well.

Pros
  • Simple and intuitive assembly process
Cons
  • Requires extra vigilance when used with hot surfaces

Complete Garbage - and Obviously Dangerous

I cannot figure out how this product has even four stars. It is complete garbage. I opened it up and was surprised by how complex the instructions appeared (see picture) - but I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. Half an hour later, I was packing the thing up to throw it away. The wood is cheap and breaking at the seams through ordinary handling (see picture). I can't figure out how exactly the pieces are supposed to go together -- what appears as rectangular blocks in the instructions are…

Pros
  • Encourages teamwork
Cons
  • May become wobbly and unstable after extended use

Cheap and broken from the start

Product came damaged right from the beginning. It was obvious it had been snapped off during production and/or placing in the box, and they sent it to us anyway. Extremely disappointed and unhappy.

Pros
  • Provides a non-threatening learning environment
Cons
  • The stool may not be sturdy enough for heavier items to be placed on top

Fantastic Product for my opinion

This learning tower is absolutely fantastic. My daughter loves it and we are very happy with how sturdy and safe it feels, especially since it was a lot cheaper than many other brands.

Pros
  • Provides a level playing field for kids of all heights
Cons
  • The stool's construction may not be suitable for outdoor use or in humid environments
