Description of Women'S Irish Merino Wool Poncho With Aran Cowl Neck Cape | SAOL

100% Merino Wool. Hand Wash Only. 100% MERINO WOOL - Made of 100% Merino wool, this poncho will drape over your shoulders and provide superior warmth that insulates you from the cold, moisture-wicking breathability that keeps you dry, and luxurious softness. ARAN STITCHING - A rich, chunky knit featuring Aran cable patterns that dress this poncho up in a diagonal design that adds striking movement and style that will not go unnoticed. FlLATTERS EVERY SHAPE - As a poncho, this piece is naturally designed with a loose fit that allows it to fall on the shoulders and gracefully elongate any figure to flatter a wide variety of shapes and sizes, creating a silhouette that looks great on any woman. FRINGE ARM OPENINGS - This updated modern poncho features fringe sides for a chic and elegant finish. DELICATE CARE - Though Merino wool is naturally strong and resilient, it requires delicate care to keep providing the best quality long-term. To get the most out of your poncho, hand washing is recommended.

Itchy sweater and short length

I was so excited to receive this poncho. I also purchased their other cowl neck poncho and absolutely love it but this wool version is so itchy. The neck opening is small and it was difficult to pull it over my head without messing up my hair, no matter if I hold it to stretch it out. It fits very tightly in the neck and I felt constricted. The frayed ends seemed so nice in the photos but look messy and unprofessional. The knitting is otherwise very nice and detailed. I'm 5'2 and find most…

Pros
  • This was a gift for my wife she loved it!
Cons
  • The poncho may be too warm for some climates and seasons, making it less versatile compared to lighter weight options
