Great package manager and extensible platform

I like that it is easy to get started with. It has many components built in so you don't have to worry about installing them yourself or maintaining your own libraries. There are also lots of tutorials available online for beginners as well as experts alike. If there isn't something out there already then you can write your own extension which makes things easier. You could do this through composer but if you want to use other versions than what's being used by default (which currently only…

Pros
  • Easy installation
  • Great documentation & community support
  • Extendable framework specific code, ecommerce functionality etc.
  • Lots'n'doze extensions/components

The framework is very flexible and easy to learn

It is very flexible and the framework has a lot of built-in features. It is easy to learn. You can use the components to build an authentication system, a website that shows statistics, an event management system. It is easy to set up. If you need to use a certain database, it is easy to implement. The documentation is clear and helpful. It is the best framework for developing applications. It is not compatible with Mysql, which is good and bad. It is a good framework for the development of…

Pros
  • Everything fits into one place without having different versions in every folder; It provides all required things out there from beginners' level until professional usage (even if we are using only basic parts); You will never feel overloaded/overwhelmed when working at such thing as PHP Framework because everything comes ready already like this stuff was designed by professionals
Cons
  • Some problems

Great Framework - Easy To Get Up And Running

I have no doubt that this is one of THE best open source frameworks out there. It gets you up to speed quickly (compared to other) without being bloated or complex. If you need something more than CRUD applications, then it may not be for you. We needed an easy/quick way to get our application off the ground while still providing some custom functionality (not easily done with any framework). A simple admin panel which was easy enough for non-technical users to use as well as administrators…

Pros
  • Great documentation.
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Yii - Great Framework For New Developers

I like the simplicity of the framework for beginners. It has a small API for authentication and a friendly and simple way for creating widgets. It is very customizable and allows for a good user interface. The template engine and the documentation are really helpful. In my opinion, if you are using Yii for a very large project, you should try other frameworks. Yii is a good solution if the project is less than 50 users. I would like to use it to improve an existing project, but I realized that…
