Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 205/55 R16 94T winter by Celina Wojnowska ᠌

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

Excellent tires, particularly for use during cold and snowy winters. Situated on RAV4 205/65/16, in the Sverdlovsk district of the territory of operation. I skated perfectly, I didn't notice any particular minuses, I always rowed confidently, and I slowed down perfectly the first winter I tried it. I rowed confidently, too. Every spike is at its proper location. Easy access to the city highway. I had to travel to the northern part of the region a lot because the roads there rarely rained and my tires could be more confident there. The snow melted after two days, and I immediately found a minus in the form of a rumble with the clatter of the whole variety of spikes on the asphalt. This winter, I changed my shoes a little earlier than usual, already in the snow at the end of October. Even when the automobile is partially stuck, the speed limit on the highway is very, very close to 110 miles per hour when driving on dry asphalt in its bare form. Although there are a lot of reviews stating that she is apparently silent, either I have a very sensitive ear or they exaggerate the quality of her silence. At first, I was thinking about the first one, but this year they placed the same tire on the service Skoda Octavia, and the effect is the same: the rumbling on the asphalt is like being in a Boeing, the noise level inside is higher, and driving in it is simply plain uncomfortable on the highway. Make your own inferences from the evidence. In general, I would suggest this rubber for locations that receive a significant amount of precipitation and have a limited amount of exposed asphalt. It appears that the majority of the reviews were produced almost quickly after the acquisition, possibly as part of a marketing push conducted by Michelin. Consider gentlemen.

Pros
  • - has good traction on ice; - expels water effectively at positive temperatures; - does not float; - is soft, swallows holes effectively; the joints pass very gently; even when compared to the summer Michelin, this model has a lower rolling resistance. — performs adequately in spite of the absence of ABS
Cons
  • - noisy on bare asphalt - expensive, but price is proportionate to everything else - floats a little bit, and you have to catch the wheel every once in a while
