I wanted to remodel the playground for me and my son. He sat about two meters from the screen and played on a 27-inch gaming monitor. I was sitting at my desk about 4 feet from my monitor. I played on a 23 inch monitor. I wanted to go up a size for both of us so I bought this 32" to replace the 27" my son was using. I got a 27 inch monitor. Settings on this monitor seem easy compared to BenQ's 27-inch monitor, but image quality doesn't suffer. To me, that's the most important feature of the monitor, not the presets. When playing games like COD and Battlefield 4, my son immediately noticed the difference in gameplay. Now he sees everything clearly. The 5 inch magnification was ideal for the distance to the screen. I took a little time to look through the presets and they had some basic choices. When playing in FPS mode, the screen became brighter and clearer, allowing my son to see a lot more detail than before. He calls it amazing and amazing. I like to see clear movements when I see him play. I didn't find the colors as punchy as the BenQ, but that's not a bad thing. The refresh rate was fast enough to work well with these shooters. I would buy it again if I needed another one. What makes it even better is that I spent my Revain$$ to buy it, so it actually only cost me about $50.
