I bought these anchors to attach hanging hardware to the inside of hollow doors. The design of the corkscrew ensures a secure fit and easy removal when needed. They are very strong and easy to install with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. This self-drilling drywall tool does not require a pilot hole, but a pre-drilled 3/16" hole (for fasteners this size) is required in thin solid panels such as hollow core doors. In fact, fasteners even go into drywall. Much easier with pre-drilling and less chance of cracking or breaking the plastic during installation. The remaining mounting hole is slightly larger than the "cheap" fasteners on the market, but the holding power is much higher. Do not use a cordless screwdriver to install these fasteners, otherwise they may break or chip. Comes with full instructions and #6x1-1-4" mounting screws". I will be ordering more of these fasteners in different sizes.
