I like these anchors more than any other anchors I've tried. Feel much firmer and more protected. Easy to install and also easy to remove. I prefer to drill a pilot hole first to reduce the deformation of the drywall when the anchor first enters the drywall, but overall I'm very satisfied.

Couldn't hold onto a stud in the wall, the tip broke off but for regular drywall they're fine for me and my screwdriver. However, the screws don't go deep enough, so I had to put epoxy standoffs on my shelves to keep them level. Not a big deal, but a bummer. Small size is a real plus. All I can find in stores are big and very big. Have been used to run cable ducts and they worked great. I didn't want to use double sided tape on the raceways in case I needed to remove them. I'd rather patch a small hole and touch up paint than re-fill the entire length of the track. If you have a screwdriver you need these drywall anchors. They have a cutout for the cross section, which allows you to screw the dowels directly into the drywall without pre-drilling. After the anchor is installed, the screw is inserted into the end of the anchor. Each of these will hold up to 40 pounds of drywall and in my experience they work pretty well.
