Review on Logitech M590 Multi-Device Silent Mouse by Agata Pkala (Kira) ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, not disappointed.

After using this mouse for a couple of days on Windows and one day on Ubuntu, two issues manifested themselves: 1) The radio receiver stopped locating the mouse and, in general, did not install software when connected to new computers or laptops (although everything was fine the first two times). To put it another way, the whistle became useless. 2) The Bluetooth connection would disconnect every ten to sixty minutes. Only the power-off state of the mouse was preserved. When my own dances accompanied by a tambourine did not assist, I was forced to send an email to Logitech's customer support. They responded after a few days (during which time they had to put up with repeated interruptions of the bluetooth connection at the most inopportune times), stating that they will drop the script in the event of any failures (It is strange that Google did not find it for me). The fact that the script contained a description of the procedure of resetting the mouse was a lifesaver for me. This mouse is in the lead when compared to others in terms of its pricing (I bought it with a coupon, and it ended up costing me 2,300 with a penny), its silence, its portability, and its wireless capability. However, the event that was described above completely ruined the impression, and so the score for this category is just 4 out of 5.

Pros
  • Logitech products are convenient, pleasant to the touch, and come with helpful applications that may be installed (allows you to track battery charge, etc.).
Cons
  • -making noise by clicking the mouse wheel left, right, and center is not an option. - Unanticipated issues with the connection (both via the radio receiver and via bluetooth)
