Review on πŸ”Œ Satechi Slim Aluminum Type-C Multi-Port Adapter: USB-C Pass-Through, 4K HDMI, USB 3.0 - Compatible with MacBook Air, iPad Pro, MacBook Pro (Silver) by Hasam Mondol ᠌

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

I was looking for the smallest one, as I bought it to connect to projectors at presentations and in rare cases of transferring files from flash drives and cards. For this reason, I did not take the option with an Ethernet connector, since it is already significantly larger in size. It is better to take it on the wire, and not the one that is connected to the USB ports. First of all, this way the ports loosen up less and you can twist and turn as needed. And secondly, at work they connected the monitor through the option without delay and sometimes the Wi-Fi network signal disappeared. They didn’t begin to find out the pickups, or the old monitor, they bought the same one and everything became normal.

Pros
  • The same, but with a port for cards, I did not find one in the market. Everything works, it heats up during operation, but just like the laptop cover during operation.
Cons
  • I would like the wire to be removable, as it turned out to be not very convenient to carry in a bag. Always the wire connector scratches the case. Not very critical, but there are a couple of scratches. Slightly different Space Gray color than on the 2022 MacBook Pro. But it's straight if you put it close.
