Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

Some pros: Aesthetically pleasing hub, when used on a macbook, a little warm after a whole day of work (in the reviews they wrote that it gets very hot). The ports do not wobble, the wire is soft. Its cons: In some places there are minor gaps between plastic and aluminum, a trifle, but it hurts the eye.

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

Review for Slim Aluminum Type-C Multi-port Adapter v2 There was a task to connect my MacBook Pro 2022 to the monitor. The rest of the ports were optional. I mainly use the keyboard and trackpad on the beech itself. After connecting to the monitor in the first HDMI port, I caught terrible noise on the monitor. I thought that the problem was in the adapter itself, but no. The first port of my monitor supports 4K @ 60Hz, the second only supports 4K @ 30Hz. Accordingly, it is solved by switching to

Pros
  • - Convenient (subjectively) format. - Required minimum ports - PD up to 60W (for version v1 up to 49W)
Cons
  • - 4K@30Hz

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

I was looking for the smallest one, as I bought it to connect to projectors at presentations and in rare cases of transferring files from flash drives and cards. For this reason, I did not take the option with an Ethernet connector, since it is already significantly larger in size. It is better to take it on the wire, and not the one that is connected to the USB ports. First of all, this way the ports loosen up less and you can twist and turn as needed. And secondly, at work they connected the

Pros
  • The same, but with a port for cards, I did not find one in the market. Everything works, it heats up during operation, but just like the laptop cover during operation.
Cons
  • I would like the wire to be removable, as it turned out to be not very convenient to carry in a bag. Always the wire connector scratches the case. Not very critical, but there are a couple of scratches. Slightly different Space Gray color than on the 2022 MacBook Pro. But it's straight if you put it close.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Good quality adapter. In my opinion, 5k is too high a price for any adapter, but I definitely don’t regret that I sold cheap. Has some pros The metal case looks stylish, the color matches perfectly with the MacBook. Also, such a case contributes to cooling. All connectors come in with a nice characteristic click. Some cons: Gets hot when connected to HDMI. I'm not sure if this is a drawback of the adapter itself, just a fact. It costs too much.

Good product, I recommend that you try it.

The task was to find a hub to connect everything to it. When you bring a laptop, plug it into one connector and you're done. In fact, it turned out differently. The USB C port on the hub did not live up to expectations. It does not recognize my Apogee sound card. You can't charge your laptop through it. In total, all two ports are occupied on the macbook air again. One goes to the hub. The other one is for a sound card or charging - you have to choose .

Pros
  • Stylish, aluminum milled body, high quality, in the color of my macbook. There are ports I need, incl. HDMI.
Cons
  • Price. My sound card is not recognized via USB C and the laptop cannot be charged. In one case, the picture was not transmitted via Hdmi to the TV. It is not clear what was the matter, if you blame the cable or TV, then another laptop transmitted the picture with them. Hdmi earned on another setup.

Really good but not great.

I love the sleek, minimalist design of this adapter, but I wish the cable section was a few inches longer. If your laptop is on a stand, the adapter will stick out of the port and appear to interfere with the connection. On first use, I realized that it was actually intended to be used with a laptop lying on a table, but then again, a few inches more would excite me. The connector also seems a bit delicate, I have to keep wiggling it to make sure the connection is good.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Failed and finally died after a year

Purchased 2/11/18 and worked fine for about 6 months, then sporadically for the last 6 months, and finally stopped working generally as of 2/11/19. Completely useless a year later the next day! Wouldn't recommend as it should have taken much, much longer. When it worked it was exactly what I wanted and needed!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Confused

Stop working after 2 months

Use with to connect a 12 inch Macbook to a monitor. I particularly liked the pass-through charging, which allows you to charge the laptop while it's connected to the monitor. Worked well for the first few months and then the screen started flickering endlessly - blinking between the working display and black (no connection). This went on for hours so that the plug became unusable. Tried to remove HDMI cable. which didn't help Seems like a loose connection and I don't want to reconfigure too…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Honest review from an IT pro (20+ years old boy I'm getting old).

I bought the Space Gray version to work with my 2016 15" Macbook Pro with Touch Bar. The device connected perfectly with all 4 ports and worked without any problems. I could confirm found the HDMI output to work on a 70" Vizio 4K TV. The TV recognized the input immediately and I was able to work smoothly in both 1080p and 2160p (30Hz) modes. My USB devices seemed to work well with the device and the transfer speeds were as good as any other adapter. Overall I'm very happy with its solid build…

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Having problems

Great device! - Computer cable adapter

I use this on my 2020 MacBook Air. Works great. I use one Thunderbolt 3 port for my external SSD and the other for this Satechi adapter. I'm using the USB-C port for a MacBook plug adapter (because it's only used for power, not data transfer). Two USB A ports that I use for flash drives, charging Bluetooth headphones, or syncing an iPad or iPhone (you can't use the USB A ports to charge an iPad or iPhone, but if it's at least 80 % is charged, you can transfer data). Others have found the USB-A…

It works as advertised on the HP Specter x360

Works on my HP x360 Specter (2016 model with 2 USB-C ports). When connecting, Windows 10 complained about incompatibility; However, after unplugging, plugging in an HDMI cable and plugging in a multiport adapter and switching my TV to the correct HDMI input, the picture was perfect. Charging via the adapter also works, although Windows 10 displays a warning that it is better to use an HP charger. However, the first time the battery was charged to full capacity, there were no problems. If the…

It's very nicely made, not heavy but looks solid

First of all, it is very nicely made, not heavy, but it looks solid. Aluminum beautifully made by Satechi. Now let's move on to my testing and reflections on 3 stars. Seems to work great with the official Apple charger as well as the Anker Premium 5-Port USB Wall Charger 60W PowerPort + 5 USB-C with Power Delivery for Apple MacBook. Big! Other docks don't seem to support the Anker charger, but this one does. My USB drives seem to work fine, I haven't tried mechanical USB drives, but I don't see
