Quality bathrobe - my new review

well made, great fabric. generously carved. Depending on how you like to wear the robe, note that an XL robe may fit an XXL man who doesn't like being "wrapped" in a robe. In addition, this robe has a shawl collar that converts into a hood. If you want a more defined hood, this shawl coat is not for you.

Pros
  • WOW it's heavy and looks big but I like it. Very warm and comfortable.
Cons
  • The length of the robe may be too long for some wearers.

Comfortable but theatrical.

This is a beautiful robe made from dense cotton terry. It is truly "monastic" in shape and appearance, which is ideal for some people's tastes but not at all for others. It is more suitable for self-selection than for gifting.

Pros
  • I like the hood!
Cons
  • I don't know why it's so hard.

Great quality, good fit

Epica Silicone Ironing Board Cover Stain Resistant & Stain Resistant - 15" x 54". Great quality, good fit, good price for a wide 54 inch ironing board

Pros
  • Hooded design for extra warmth
Cons
  • The bathrobe may not be suitable for all skin types.

The quality has changed for the worse.

I bought this item as a gift last year and everyone was so impressed with the weight and quality of the robe that I got reviews for it over and over again throughout the year; So this year I bought 3 more as gifts via the Buy Again option. Big mistake. They are twice as light as the ones bought last year, much thinner and don't fit. Such a disappointment. To return.

Pros
  • Luxurious bathrobe.
Cons
  • Cotton material may shrink after washing.

Just too bulky for a bathrobe.

I ordered a robe which was not monastic style and fits very well, is comfortable and wicks moisture well. So I decided to order a monastery robe from the same company. However, the monastery robe does not fit me so comfortably, the material seems to be thicker (heavier) and the waistband of the cassock is very voluminous. I also didn't like the hooded style of the cowl because it felt bulky and just didn't fit for some reason. However, it warms and is absorbent.

Pros
  • Third purchase. Incredible quality not seen in the US. Do it.
Cons
  • The product may be too heavy for some users

This just arrived today and is absolutely the most amazing robe I have ever had. It's the kind of fit and quality I needed but never realized. I'm 6'2, 250lbs. and ordered size XL and it fits perfectly and by perfect I mean it's almost to my ankles, the sleeves don't cover my arms when they're on the side and it fits my waist perfectly. The material itself is thick, heavy and soft (I ordered maroon and the color is almost the same as the picture). The hood is great, low but not too low, and the

Pros
  • Perfect for relaxing or after a shower/bath
Cons
  • The bathrobe is not easy to adjust to different body sizes

Very well done - my new review

This robe is huge, very plush, hey, beautiful. You can feel a week when you unpack it, very heavy, very well made, a bit big but great in the bathroom.

Pros
  • Lightweight for easy movement
Cons
  • Cotton material can be easily torn or torn

Great gift: my rating

I gave this bathrobe to my husband for Valentine's Day and he loves it. He's a little big, but he said he was "gaining on". Thank you - Dan Burns Buffalo, NY

Pros
  • Very thick material Super absorbent Make sure to buy the right size, they run a bit big
Cons
  • Bathrobe may not be suitable for everyday use

ONLY thick terry NOT "heavy "

NO "heavy" bathrobe! At least not for northern lights. It's just a thicker terry cloth robe. NOT for northern winter use, NOT a robe that can be used for chasing the newspaper, keeping a pup at his work, or for getting home from the hot tub.

Pros
  • Good product at a reasonable price with fast delivery
Cons
  • Looks cheap, but it's not cheap to buy. I do not like it. Returned. (it's not plush like they say)

This robe is even better than described. I like this! Well made, heavy, comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. You should use another model to show it because it looks silly on him but trust me you will love it.

Pros
  • Bought the youth version for my nephews and they wore them until they needed adult sizes!
Cons
  • Color may fade over time

Great robe! thick and heavy.

This is absolutely the best bathrobe here. I bought XXL and it wraps me like a blanket. Bathrobes must be large. These are not street clothes. However, this is either for a cold morning, or for a night, or for the winter. This terry thick thick thick. IMO Arus makes the best clothes.

Pros
  • Beautiful robe! I'm a tall woman so I ordered M. It fits perfectly. good weight
Cons
  • The hood can be difficult to adjust or fasten

5 years later the best in my rating

I wore my XL bathrobe every day, which saved me the towel after the shower. The loop on my belt was torn off by someone trying to pull the robe out of the washing machine by the loop. (not a good reputation, it's hard when wet). I recently developed a hole along the seam of my arm, again 5 years of daily use. I have an XXL in my car (6ft 1270), I think $26 a year is a good investment.

Pros
  • I feel like a Jedi Master.
Cons
  • The product may be too warm for use in hot climates.

Fabulous! the best in my rating

I knew it would be a little long in the hand and a little long in length. I read other people's comments when making my choice. It is very high quality and heavy. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Pros
  • wrinkle-free material
Cons
  • A bathrobe may not be as versatile as other clothing items.

Amazing product! in my rating

Amazing product! Very comfortable and warm. It's also fluffy and well made. Bonus site for all Star Wars fans like me; Black makes you look like a Sith Lord when you have to put on a hood.

Pros
  • Provides a feeling of comfort all day long
Cons
  • Product may not be as soft as advertised after washing.

Luxury Bathrobe Matches Clothing

Luxury Bathrobe Very well tailored and heavy weight, will keep you warm on cold/chilly days. Got this in a medium and the length is just right, just coming down to the ankles and the sizing around the drop is very good. Some commenters might be a little rounder than they'd like to admit, which is why they don't fall to the ankles like this robe should. The top folds down to provide plenty of headroom and lays flat when not in use. I've looked at other robes on Revain and was a little skeptical…

Gorgeous bathrobe!

I bought this robe to use on cold snowy winter nights to get in and out of the hot tub. It's so heavy and warm, it's just amazing. I'm by no means a big guy. I'm 5'6", I weigh 180 pounds and my robe hangs down to my feet. It doesn't touch but can be 2 inches off the floor. The robe could easily wrap around me with plenty of room. I have ordered a size small and it is very large and comfortable for a person my size.My daughter and wife also like to wear it and sometimes climb in the hot tub.If…

Exactly what I was hoping for

This is exactly what I was hoping for, a thick, heavy terrycloth monk style bathrobe. This is perfect for those times when you forgot to get your towel before jumping in the shower - just grab the robe hanging on the hook and you're good to go. Also perfect for getting in and out of the hot tub on cold days. I've only had it 1 day so here are my impressions: Pros: Nice heavy terry fabric - warm! I love the burgundy color so you can wrap it around you. Sleeves can be rolled up (they were a…

First impression I love this item

April 2017 I'm just over 6ft 250lbs and ordered size XXL. This robe comes almost to my ankles and is more than enough to wrap the rest of my stuff around. So the measurements are accurate - a bit oversized. The cut is decent, the hood is ridiculously big, but it works. Compared to other similar products, this one seems to be the best I know of. These are first impressions of course, I will update this review if the quality is below average. March 2019. Worth every penny. Survived arrival for 2…

Comfy Friar Tuck Robe

I bought this to wear to my backyard hot tub in the cold Northeast winter weather. It's made from the thickest terrycloth material I've ever seen, hits almost to the ankles, fits well (I've gained 220 pounds and it still fits) and is surprisingly warm. It also appears to be well made and has held up well to multiple washes. I don't consider these shortcomings given my use of the robe, but things to note: It's very heavy (I wouldn't be surprised if it weighs over 10 pounds); sleeves are very…

Good not great and the size is off!

Good. Very soft and heavy. Cozy. Appears to be well built. Quality and looks are good. Poorly. Short. Not as stated on the ankle unless you are under 5ft 4in. I ordered M and I'm 5'11. At best, this is the middle of the lower leg. My wife is 5'8 and got a small one. About mid-calf. ankle length? no M runs very large, but the sleeves are short. So net if you are 200lbs and 5ft 4in this will fit well and be ankle length :). Finale is the hood? It's actually more of a piece of cloth. Not well…
