Takes Most Memory Cards

This is a handy item to have. We have a number of items with different kinds of memory cards that we want to transfer from one device to storage on the computer. This takes them all. I won't go into the technical details as you can get that from the product description. Nor do we use this to copy from or to various cards simultaneously. What we got this inexpensive device for was to plug it via USB into the computer, and then put in the variously sized/type of photo or memory card from a digital

Pros
  • The product was perfect for what I needed
Cons
  • May become overheated with extended use

My laptop didn't come with a way to read or write SD cards. For my 3D printer, I needed to copy files from Ultimaker Cura to SD card to allow 3D printing. This unit works great for this. All in all this is working perfectly for my needs. The 3D printer is doing its thing with the files I transfer using this unit. Well worth a full 5 stars.

Pros
  • Exactly what I expected and it was the same as the description said. I would order it again.
Cons
  • Slightly larger than other card readers on the market

Fine addition to your USB gear for SD cards!

Purposeful addition to the computer without having to add on a SD reader. You just plug this into the USB port and you are able to read 4 in 1 sizes for the SD cards. Many cameras these days require you to use an SD card for the storage of photos and instead of having to hook your camera to the USB you can keep the cards separately and slip them into this reader and it saves time and energy.Excellent item which I highly recommend!

Pros
  • 2.78 ounces
Cons
  • May not support the latest version of USB-C

Great card reader for my opinion

Doing videography on the go or taking pictures on my Canon EOS50D requires that I'm able to transfer large files from a CF, SD, or miniSD card to my laptop without hooking the camera or camcorder directly to the laptop as it most often requires the annoying use of software to perform the simple act of COPYING FILES.Having this card reader to take care of my options makes my life easier and it works quickly at USB 3.0 speeds, most often only bottlenecked by whatever speed your cards can support.

Pros
  • After-sale Service: USB C Memory Card Reader Micro sd card reader Free Lifetime Technical support and support 1 Years Warranty,no worry on return or refund.
Cons
  • May be difficult to clean

Great little reader!

I needed a card that still had a USB-A plug- I know, so stone age! But this little reader was just the thing, and at a great price too. It will read all my cards, and yes- I still have an even older than stone-age camera that I occasionally like to use that shoots CF cards and this even read those!Great little multi-tasker. I would definitely order again and may have to just so I have a backup. A card reader that reads all the oldies is getting harder to find!

Pros
  • Easy to use and effective
Cons
  • May not work with some operating systems

Reads CF cards reliably

I have a drawer full of 3.5” diskettes, SmartMedia cards, Compact Flash cards, and other obsolete media. There are probably more in boxes and crates in the basement, and before I can throw them out I’d like to check them to see if they have any useful data. While this reader won’t do SmartCards it did read the CF cards without difficulty, and it’ll do the common SD cards, Sony Memory Sticks and a few others. For less than fourteen dollars it’s a good solution to a common problem.

Pros
  • It reads all cards.
Cons
  • May be prone to losing data during transfer

Perfect For My Work Chromebook Micro SD With No Adapter!

I am working on a website which requires my partner and I to work on taking photos and posting them of our work. This requires a variety of different media access to upload our photos to our chromebook to post them online. I got this to help.HOW THIS COMESThis comes in a box which is shrink wrapped in plastic (important if your delivery person leaves the package in the rain) and the unit itself is covered in an electronic suitable bag inside the box. There is also an instruction paper.CORDThe…

Super convenient for my opinion

Even though a lot of devices transfer data wirelessly these days, sometimes it's unreliable or incredibly slow. And sometimes you need to pop the SD out of the device for someone else to get the data from while you pop in a new one and keep working. The problem is that not ever device has a reader and not all cards are the same size. This little gem solves all of those problems using plug & play technology.TECHNICAL STUFF:✴️Works with Window, Linux, IOS.✴️Designed with 4 card slots: SD, Micro…

Does not work for my opinion

I got this a few months ago and tried it then. It did not work. My wife broke her foot and our lives went into a new direction - I didn't have time to play with it and she was focused on other things. She's getting better so I asked her to try it - she's the technical one in the house due to her work. She has now tried it on 3 computers and none of them work. We have MAC products for personal use - which the product page and box say it is compatible with, but she can't get it to work either…

Pros
  • Works great...very pleased!
Cons
  • May not work with all types of SD cards

I AM SO HAPPY - my new review

Oh my. I am so happy that my Friend recommend this to me. So basically what happened is that My Macbook stopped reading SD Cards. Which was very frustrating because I am a Photographer.yup! really bad. I did every reboot you can think of, reading articles online and watched sooo many YouTube videos ! Nothing worked. I went to Apple and had a live chat with one of their representatives and we were chatting for 5 HOURS! He couldn't help me and told that I have to wait until Apples Stores open up…

Small in size and it is fast !

This is a versatile card reader that can read more than 9 different types if cards. Owing to its small size, it can easily be carried around in bag. AND USB-C connectivity provide for unmatched speeds. The material the card reader and the wire are made of is very strong and sturdy and it is made to last.My camera uses a CF card and a SDXC card and it is always pain to download multiple gigabytes of raw images from camera to computer. With its USB-C connection, this card reader is very fast in…

Connected and read Memory Stick perfectly

Bought this specifically to read the Sony Duo Memory Stick because that's what our camera uses. Most of these multi card readers require the Sony Duo to use an adapter to be read in the Sony Memory Stick (non-Duo) slot, but this one does not, so that saves a step, which just makes the process of downloading photos so much easier. It connected to my computer and worked perfectly; no problems.

Pros
  • Well made, works great. Was able to read cards that couldn’t be seen by other card readers.
Cons
  • Limited warranty options

A Must Have best in my review

This 4-in-1 SD card reader is very responsive. It suits my needs very well, from microSD to compact flash sized memory cards. Very accurate description. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Good card reader
Cons
  • May be difficult to insert and remove SD cards

Does not work with Memory Stick

I got this card reader so I could down load all the pics. from the memory sticks from my old camera. It uses Sony memory sticks not the duo or pro. My memory sticks are too thick to fit the slot. One of my memory sticks are in the picture. I like the card reader it seams well built and works fine with other cards, just not mine.

Pros
  • Works perfectly and it's easy to set up.
Cons
  • May require additional power to operate

Plug and play card reader is a great value!

This multi memory card reader is just what I was needing! Supports lots of different memory card styles that you can’t plug directly into your laptop. Saved hundreds of old pictures off of my cards! Very easy to use, just plug and play! Great value and built durable!

Pros
  • This works great. Perfect for what I need.
Cons
  • May be prone to disconnecting from the device

Very fast transfer best in my review

This reader is really fast. I think it's actually faster than the USB reader that comes with my iMac. I like that it has a lot of options for different cards. Don't be stupid like me and think that CF and CFast are the same. It's not. I just glanced through this and though CF is the same as CFast until I try to use it with my CFast card. Not a big deal, because that was my mistake. Reading SD and Micro SD cards on this is super fast so I'm happy with that.

Pros
  • The SNANSHI 4 in 1 USB C Card Reader is compatible with a wide range of devices, ensuring that you can use it with your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
Cons
  • May not work with all USB hubs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simultaenous and CF

Very useful to have around. There's a lot of card readers out there but it's more difficult to find one that has CF support as well.I also really like that it can read simultaneously because cheap readers only allow one or the other.

Pros
  • Worked exactly as it should.
Cons
  • May require additional software to work properly
