What is LuckPool
LuckPool is a no-signup mining pool that currently serves Verus (VRSC), with merge-mined Verus PBaaS chains paid alongside. It uses its own PPLTS reward system and offers hybrid solo mining and a block-finder jackpot. Earlier snapshots show it also ran pools for Zen, Komodo, Zcash and other coins.
Coins, payout schemes and fees
| Coin | Payout scheme | Pool fee | Minimum payout |
|---|---|---|---|
| VRSC (Verus) | PPLTS | 1% | 0.0001 VRSC (customisable) |
Payouts
| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Payout schedule | Every 20 hours. |
| Payout scheme explained | PPLTS (Pay Per Loyal Time Share) mixes PROP and PPLNS; new hashrate ramps up to full share value over about an hour to deter pool hopping. |
| Transaction fees | Block rewards and transaction fees are both paid to miners. |
| Merged mining | Verus PBaaS chains are merge-mined; only R-addresses are supported for merge-mining, and exchange addresses should not be used. |
| Merge-mined payouts | The payments page lists separate payouts for the vARRR and vDEX chains. |
| Solo mining | Hybrid solo: the finder gets 75% of the block reward and the other 25% goes to pool miners. Enabled with 'hybrid' in the password field. |
| Miner's jackpot | A miner who finds a block earns a fixed extra 0.1 VRSC. |
Connecting
| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Server regions | North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific (na., eu. and ap.luckpool.net). |
| Protocol | Verushash 2.2 + PBaaS; plain and SSL stratum ports; XtraNonce subscription supported. |
| Account needed | No sign-up: the username is a Verus wallet address (R, i or zs1 prefix), optionally with a rig name. |
| Supported hardware | The connect page lists ports for CPU mining. |
Security and transparency
- The payments page and miner dashboards show transaction IDs and amounts for coinbase rewards, which can be checked on block explorers.
- Payments to private (zs1) addresses may not show amounts or addresses on third-party explorers.
- Share spoofing and other malicious mining forfeit rewards under the pool policy.
History
| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| August 2018 | An August 2018 snapshot shows pools for Zen, VerusCoin, Komodo, Zcash, Zclassic, Hush and VoteCoin. |
| June 2019 | By June 2019 the site advertised the Miner's Jackpot, Hybrid Solo Mining and PPLTS rewards with a 1% fee. |
Risks and caveats
- Services are provided as is, and the terms exclude liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Miners are responsible for their payout address; the pool warns against exchange addresses or addresses without private keys.
- Under PPLTS, short or irregular mining earns less; the pool suggests at least 8 hours at a steady hashrate.

How voting works
Votes are anonymous and carry no text. Each device has one vote per item; press the same button again to remove it. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is voting.
