This phone holder is very advantageous. It was very easy to install and holds the phone very well. Installation and removal with one hand. The only downside is that the phone vibrates quite heavily, so it can be a bit difficult to check the GPS while traveling.

The installation was of course very easy. As if it wasn't on my dashboard or windshield blocking my view. It's close to my charger so the cords aren't everywhere. Once you put your phone in, you don't have to worry about it falling out. Very safe off-road

It's difficult to take a picture with the phone in the holder for obvious reasons. It's a quick 5 minute install and very easy to use. A flathead screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, 8mm and 10mm sockets, an extension cord and a ratchet are all you need. The only thing I added was a washer next to the nut when installing the phone holder.

I have to take the case off to keep it from flying out of the mount, I also have to put a rubber band around the front to hold it in place and then still no guarantee. I would not recommend that.

There is nothing more to say than "this phone holder is fantastic". I'm not a reviewer, but the phone situation was the only thing that annoyed me about my Jeep: it wasn't going anywhere! Some people stick them on the dashboard, but I think it occupies a dangerous place in the driver's field of vision. It's completely out of the way, making it easy for you to see who's calling, route, and radio control at the same time. And with proper installation, the passenger does not interfere. BUY THIS!

No instructions. No charts. Nothing. I can understand that, but you can't install this without very specific tools that your normal household doesn't have. It appears to be solidly built. The review asks for a "suction" rating, but there is no suction mechanism, so that's an issue. I will return it because of a very bad seller. Once I figured out how to install it and find the right tools I would say I am very happy with the product. I forgot the exact dimensions but here is a list of what you will need. 1. Allen wrench to remove jeep front panel from handrail.2. A small socket with a long extension to remove the handrail on the left side and loosen the right side to install the bracket.3. I originally got a Dynastar phone mount for my 17 JKU (Willys Wheeler Ed) but rarely used it as it was top down and the springs were very tight. Got a RuggedRidge (mount only) on a better day. It attaches side to side and fits into the mounting ball. The problem was that it had rubber extensions that came loose in the heat and without the rubber extensions the phone wouldn't hold onto the small plastic extension. I saw this mount and liked that it didn't block the windshield so I gave it a try.
