This journey took a long time.

A long time ago I should have said about this cute little thing. I see I bought it in 2012 which seems like old history now but that was before I really started writing reviews. It probably didn't cross my mind. But here's the thing: I just used it again to burn one DVD and read another. Worked flawlessly as always. In fact, I had no problem reading or writing during those eight years. If it's important to you, I almost always burn them with ImgBurn. His reliability is of great importance, especially as I have not always treated him very well. It was pushed to the bottom of crowded shelves, tossed into boxes, stuffed on top and (perhaps worst of all) paraded around in front of young children. I could probably name a few more abuses. But none of that seemed to affect him. It still works just as cleanly and reliably as the day it was delivered. In the image I'm attaching, I tried rotating the light to bring out all the scuffs and scratches on the poor thing. And it still works great. I bought a few things that are in such good condition. I think I'll be using it for another eight years, or at least until I see fit to burn a Blu-Ray.
