Splinterlands is a Unique and Compelling (often Profitable) Crypto-Game

If you have ever enjoyed collectible trading card games in the past, then maybe you should get to know Splinterlands. It's the next generation of TCG, where each card is a unique digital asset that is owned entirely by the player.

Splinterlands provides all the enjoyment of popping open booster packs and thumbing through your haul  to see if you struck gold.

The season and quest loot makes players really want to build up their collections in order to earn the greatest rewards. Cards can easily be sold off in the Monster Market, but you can also buy cards for a number of different cryptocurrencies, including Dark Energy Crystals, which you can earn for simply playing Splinterlands.

Splinterlands cards cannot be damaged or destroyed (unless you burn them for their value in Dark Energy Crystals). You can battle with your cards thousands of times if you want, and they will still be in perfect mint condition.

I cannot recommend more strongly giving this game a try. You will achieve glory. You will learn discipline and strategy. You will find a solid community of great people from all over the world. And you may even make a little money if you play your cards right.

Pros

Cards are easy to buy and sell and the peer-to-peer market is active around the clock.
The game is simple to learn, but endlessly complicated to master, like any good strategy game.
This game is a great way to learn about investing and trading cryptocurrency.
Each battle only takes about two minutes of my time.
When you don't have time to play, cards can be rented to others for residual income or leased out as part of a set. That's the power of a blockchain for gaming!
The Daily Quest and season rewards are worth coming back for day after day.
Players can earn 5% of referrals' purchases through Splinterlands
Cards are digital assets, so they cannot be ripped or damaged.

Cons

Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology has a fairly difficult learning curve.
The mobile application was only just released, and it is still a little buggy.
To compete at higher levels, players must accumulate large quantities of certain cards.
The same players are always winning the tournaments.
