What is special about gateio?
Gate io exchange. Gateio is a crypto currency exchange platform that has been established since 2013 or for 7 years.
First, let's discuss my experience with this exchange. I have used this Exchange since 2017. The Exchange was launched by Gate Technology Inc. When I use this exchange, without doing KYC, I can trade well and withdrawals take place without problems. I tried with a capital under $ 500. The volume is decent and even though the market movement is not as fast as binance, they have real traders and volume. I often make profits from a variety of coins that are difficult to find in other exchanges. This makes gateio unique. When I find a project that is full of potential but still under the radar, not yet known to many people, usually the coin will be listed at gateio before finally entering a larger exchange. In terms of appearance, Gateio has a very clean interface and if you are looking for information, such as altcoin lists, order books, graphics, wallet, settings and so on, you will easily get that information because the website is easy to understand and the UI design is not exaggerated.
There are two languages available for this exchange, namely English and Chinese and we can trade from the website or from the mobile app. .
At the moment trading gateio volume is at $ 52m with more than 422 trading pairs. Gateio can be accessed from my country Indonesia. And provides good security such as 2fa, email verification and KYC. It would be much better if gateio also provided an email notification to verify withdrawal and if the withdrawal was successful so that the customer could know the progress made.
The lack of a gate that makes me hesitate to deposit more money is about its regulations. Although based in Virginia, there is no clarity about whether gateio has been registered with the regulator in running its business.
Gate IO provides transparency regarding its security system. First, the separation between hot & cold wallet, the second step is the user's assets are protected by security elements from gatechain, the third step is that they also provide a set of real-time risk warnings to users who trade. Fourth, gateio has become the first-ever mainstream exchange that dares to verify the value of each user's assets with a financial audit. This is done through trusted third parties in their fields. gateio has proven 100% collateral and the report has been made open source on the blockchain and can be accessed by anyone. Wow, Bravo Gateio!
Even so, gateio has not shown information about the regulations above the exchange. Hopefully in the future gateio will get permission from the local regulator and can prove itself as a trusted exchange.
