Hitbtc
HitBTC was launched in 2013. It has a large trading volume and the biggest number of supported currencies. It also has quite an easy interface if you have some experience in trading. If you don’t, you can read their blog. It contains numerous articles on using HitBTC as well as articles with general trading tips.
Pros
- Strong security. It won’t compromise the customer's assets (or at least I can't imagine how it can be possible). The exchange offers several protection means and complies to the Know Your Customer policy so it's literally impossible that anyone but you could withdraw your funds.
- HitBTC supports all the worthy altcoins you can imagine.
Cons
- Sometimes users have to prove their ownership of the funds. In certain cases, it can take a while
- It would be cool if HitBTC provided an option to deposit fiat money, but currently, that's impossible.
