Through V3, Uniswap has focused on improving the functionality related to Automated Market Making (AMM). By training, I mean really huge innovations and changes.
First and foremost - they introduce concentrated liquidity. What does concentrated liquidity mean? Liquidity providers (LP) will be able to provide liquidity within the desired price ranges.
Let's not forget a very important thing: range orders will be extremely important when issuing tokens. Token issuers will be able to unilaterally provide liquidity and distribute it at the prices at which they would like to sell their token.
Pros
- One can choose to provide liquidity for ETH only when trading between $ 1,800 and $ 2,000, or to allocate liquidity to desired volumes.
Cons
- When the price is outside the selected ranges, nothing is earned.
