Review on Aragon by David Olayide

The Aragon Project

Aragon is a decentralized application that operates on the Ethereum blockchain and allows anyone to create and manage a decentralized organization. The project is open source and is led by the Aragon Foundation. There is a token, ANT, that gives holders voting rights to make decisions about the future development of the network. Basically, Aragon offers a modularized way to create and manage Dapps, and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO). The ANT ERC-20 token will enable its holders of the token to actually govern the Aragon Network. From what I have been able to discover, the entire project is sort of focused on providing a balanced and fair system powered by the technological movements. The developers behind the creation of Aragon, believe that this technology can either lead to a more free, open, and fair society or reinforce a global regime of centralized control, surveillance, and oppression. I can agree that they have genuine concerns but the achieving a solution to this seemingly problematic situation might not be easy because of the lack of concerted efforts. The project is totally against the centralization and the power monopoly that comes with it. Building open source technologies to allow the creation and management of decentralized organizations, making DAO's thrive, and creating a valid community, are just some of the things that Aragon pledges to do. There’s a circulating supply of 39,609,523 ANT coins. Binance, Huobi Global,
