I was first introduced to bitcoin when it was 36 pence and I ignored it as a joke at my own cost, at the time my business was doing well and I could easily have invested a few thousand into it. I then lost everything thanks to my corrupt bank and now look back at would might have been.
My view of the banks from this experience has put a very bad taste in my mouth and I have detested banks government and corruption ever since.
This brought me back to bitcoin at around 12k only to see my small investment virtually disappear overnight. Now I'm back with more confidence that it will go where forecasters are saying but wary of how big the market it is now and who will be the winners and losers in the next few years. Bitcoin I think will stand the test of time but will it always be secure as whales accumulate holdings and end up controlling the price? I don't know but I do feel it is more reliable as an asset now than it was a few years ago.
