Bitcore is created majorly to provide direct, fast and secure payment solution. However, it is doubtful if this will really be achieved. Why? This is because considering the fact that the project started since 2017, one will expect it to be widely adopted and have several user cases. The truth is that reversed is the case. While Bitcoin and it's forks are already widely adopted and can be traded in several exchanges, bitcore is not. Some have even called it a scan project. Whether this claim is true or not only time will tell.
Pros
- It has a very low transaction fee
- The block chain size is narrow not more than 1gb
- It is open source and can be verified
- Its transaction cannot be reversed hence is immutable
- It is highly scalable, far than btc and its fork

- The use cases is very few
