BitShares is a block-chain-based, open source, distributed cryptographic exchange program that uses BTS (Bitshares Coin) as the DEX's main trading pair. All encrypted currencies not included in the BitShares platform are considered derivatives or "smart coins" and deposits / withdrawals are made through the central gateway.
BitShares Exchange has free and open registration.
BitShares Exchange can also use desktop applications.
Pros
- No governments, no IRS, no withdrawal delays .With most exchanges now requesting for kyc before trading could begin, Bitshares supports anonymity of users and allows for easy and fast transactions while been secured . I love the instant sending feature, use it for exchanging with friend. And with my membership I recieve 80% fees back which is also great.
Cons
- It is very hard to be ok with their design.i don't like the black template From my personal experience, the exchange is really confusing, especially for people like me that just want to trade and not hustle with some troubles. I really hope that they will make it more “for the people” and “for the geeks”. After a few days I figured it out, but still.
