BLOCKNET

Blocknet is a decentralized network that connects blockchains, similar to how the internet connects computers. Blocknet provides developers with the capability to create the applications of tomorrow. The Blocknet Protocol is designed to increase or maximize the interoperability between different blockchains through the use of these components. Just like the internet connects computers, the Blocknet Protocol is critical for blockchains to communicate and realize full potential. Now I especially love this because of the very simple and easy to understand explanations. This is simple for almost anyone to understand. So far I have been seeing only green lights about the project. Blocknet is rules or controlled by the community, for the community, without any centralized entity, or figure or body. The project is also impressively self-funding and also open source as well. What this means in effect is that the entire Blocknet project is decentralized and self funded and governed. Holders of the token and other contributors to the network who have a stake in the blockchain can also make decisions together. There is a mobile wallet available for Windows, Linux and Bootstrap version called Blocknet Core Wallet which allows a user to securely store, transact and stake BLOCK. You can purchase the BLOCK token on cryptocurrency exchanges like Bittrex, Digifinex, Block DX, Finexbox and many others too. BLOCK has a circulating supply of 7,578,235 BLOCK coins. I happened to check the price of the BLOCK token and I found out it wasn’t that bad. The last time I checked it was somewhere in the range of about 4 dollars and about 10 cents. This is a good thing and I expect a growth in market price sometime soon in the future.

Pros
  • Blocknet connects blockchains together just like the internet
  • The project Promotes interoperability
  • Blocknet is self funded
  • Community governance
  • Open source
  • Staking and voting rights available to contributors to the network
Cons
  • Nil
