Does crowds opinion matter nowadays?! Of course it does! We have seen that recently in economy; both in stocks and cryptocurrency in cases of Game Stop and DOGE, where people actually pushed the price high. So, some companies figured out that most important think for growth of that company is having a majority of people willing to buy their products.
Crowd-holding helps companies in way that they give them crowds opinion on their new ideas and innovations. As they said, they are a block chain-backed platform designed to improve communication and insights between startups and the public.
Public gets paid by doing tasks that companies give, which are always in form of surveys. If you vote like majority of users, you get bigger reward in YUP, which is the cryptocurrency with which users get paid. But wouldn't that mean that everyone will vote for what majority votes? No, because until the end of task, nobody knows for what majority voted.
Unfortunately, by the time of writing this review on the website there is no activity. By my research, last task was given on 20th of March 2021.
Not only that. This principle can be almost to easily exploited. For example, some opens account on any of social media and start posting his voting; most people would copy it to get bigger price, which would lead to inaccurate results for companies.
