Ignis is a novel block chain architecture
Ignis is a an innovative project, first of its kind in block chain arena. It was launched by a team of experts in cryptocurrency. They are Kristina Kalcheva, Like Yaffe and Petko Petkov. It was launched in 2018. What is special about Ignis?
Before now we have seen architecture that supports cross chain and we have also heard anything of sidechain architecture, but parent - child architecture is novel to block chain. This is what Ignis is. It is a child project Ardor which is the parent project. With this architecture, it is possible to reduce or even eliminate block chain bloat because of overwhelming transaction. It is also possible to further strengthen security of the child project since it is a subset of the parent project and depends on it for security.
While Ignis, the first child and other child will handle all operational activities like creating assets, voting on polls and sending messages, Ardor, the parent will handle security, network and processing activities.
The token of both Ardir and ignis will be owned automatically by inveators. The token can be used for proof of stake consensus and provides security for all child. The Ignis project inherit the open source code of Ardor.
