Looking at the charts, you will see that this coin has had constant market value and very low volatility, which is unlike Bitcoin. In addition, when Bitcoin’s value dropped badly, LTC was not affected as much as other coins. Nonetheless, investors have always believed that this coin’s future completely relies on its leaders and development teams. Charlie Lee is an important member of these teams. He has consistently used various social media platforms for marketing and more incorporations of Litecoin to avoid the typical in-platform issues, faced by most coin developers in the market.
Pros
- Litecoin also has a very shorter response time. This brings pros and vs but essentially it doesn’t add anything of such difference to what Bitcoin offers. Recently the creator of Litecoin “invested” some money to give it a push of life by involving some developer or something to enhance the protocol or whatever. On Poloniex this move didn’t touch the price AT ALL. It means there’s no trust anything of importance will happen on this cryptocurrency.
Cons
- People have ignored Litecoin for years, but it has remained a consistent store of value that is supported by many exchanges. Litecoin, with the agreement of participation from most of the hashrate leading pools, is at the door of activating Segregated Witness. A potential investments opportunity, a LTC value and usability will definitely increase.
