litecoin is a currency similar to bitcoin. This network offers almost only one digital currency and is no other purpose than a cryptocurrency.
In 2017, the ltc currency grew by about 7300%, which led to much more attention after that. More interestingly, Bitcoin 2017, one of its busiest years, grew by 1731 percent, which was lower than LTC.
I guess if Bitcoin grows well again (as many expect) the ltc currency will have another sharp growth. Of course, we still can not speak for sure because there is always the possibility of error in probability.

- I think ltc is more suitable than btc in investing
- A stunning growth record in 2017
- Due to the fact that the speed of block formation in litecoin network is higher than bitcoin, it is much more suitable for instant ltc transfers.
Cons
- It has no other ability than being a currency
