Merculet - A project in advertisement industry
Merculet project focuses on the monetization of users' attention on the contents to reform the correlation between customers, producers, and investors through several components. The three most important components are User's Attention Value, Users' Attention Tokens, and Open Content Platform. They evaluate users' attention gotten from high-quality digital products to distribute incentives. The main goal of MVP is to reward the contribution of the internet participants who impact efficiently to the other communities' perceptions about the online world but get ignored most of the time. I think the team needs many efforts to be competitive with the other projects in the same field.
Pros
- The project connects the users and customers directly so there is no need for the middlemen in the businesses cooperation
- Users get the rewards for their attention to advertisement accompanied with the products
- They use a complex feedback system based on consensus to facilitate the evaluation of users' attention (R + POS)
- It has a token for its own economy called MVP operated on Ethereum blockchain currently, which is quite innovative and secure
Cons
- The idea is not special and there are a lot of projects having the same operation (such as Basic Attention Token)
- The MVP does not clearly show what it really want to deliver to the public
- Trading volume is too low showing there is not much hype feeling about it at the time
