This project was quietly launched in 2014 by an unknown person.
Oneperson posted one tweet, two of which were shared on Facebook and 12 on Bitcointalk. At a time when developers were busy deciphering bitcoin, NewYorkCoin was launched.
This currency is not controlled by any central authority. NewYorkCoin is exactly identical to altcoin with confirmations 5 times faster. New York is the closest and fastest free crypto in the world. It also has intermittent encryption around the world. It was attacked but not affected. The attack only affected New York Coin and double-spending.
Because of these, New York City was removed from the list of exchanges and closed both deposits and withdrawals. And in 2019 New York opened only deposits. In late 2020, developer Sami Ahmed began researching New York coin as he suspected a lack of development by customers. Sammy reached out to Charlie cartschner and asked him to hand him the management of the channel nyc Coin discord . Sami introduced an active crypto developer at GitHub, CryptoLover705 to the NewYorkCoin project . After checking the code he made the decision CryptoLover705 to take it as the new developer of NewYorkCoin and so I started working New York anew.
