OMG technology is based on Ethereum network’s decentralized blockchain technology, designed using the Plasma architecture, which allows rapid speeds, and good security and true financial-industry grade solutions. From a layperson's point of view, OmiseGO makes sending and receiving payments and exchanging currencies cheaper, even if you're handling ordinary or cryptographic calls. This is a digital wallet that you can use on your phone or desktop and the rest of the world to easily switch to block technology.

- The goal of the platform is not so much to be a cryptocurrency such as bitcoin or Dogecoin but rather to offer users an alternative to online exchanges. Omise plans to use the OmiseGO platform to complement existing payment networks that are currently accepted by companies such asMcDonalds and Alipay. OMG provided several important and valuable features within their network on banking system orientation.
