ReaderNet is a platform that allows writers to write, edit, publish and even showcase their book directly to readers. Readers are this able buy or rent these books directly from writers buy paying them using READ tokens. Writers can avoid the hefty cuts taken by publishers other listing websites like Amazon, Safari, and Bookstore among many other such services.
The READ coin has a circulating supply of 160 Million READ coins and a maximum supply of 2.1 Billion. I think this is a very good invention for writers because they will no longer be marginalized or cheated by publishers or listing websites. Writers have more power and control over their own books. Costs over publishing are going to be totally eliminated.
However I discovered that there doesn’t seem to be much traffic to the coin and in fact the project is kind of inactive. I couldn’t find any valuable information about the coin online. There’s no specific or official website that I can visit to confirm some details about the coin. All in all, I think it is a really great project that writers can really make use of.
