Pros
- 1.) Fast Payments. 2.) Cheap Transactions. 3.) Ripple's services used by banks and other payment service providers. 4.) More and more banks and payment service providers are testing it and will eventually adopt it. 5.) Strong business model and a good history of implementation.
Cons
- 1.) Not as decentralized as a cryptocurrency should be. 2.) Has decentralized competitors like stellar(XLM).
