THORCHAIN
THORChain manages the exchanges according to the rules of the fully autonomous state machine. Every trade it observes is finalized, ordered and processed. Invalid exchanges are refunded, valid exchanges are transparently ordered with front-run resistance. Validators will be penalized if they cannot influence the order of transactions and fail to comply with a valid exchange transaction.
Continuous Liquidity Pools
Exchanges on THORChain are made possible with liquidity pools. These are asset pools deposited by Liquidity providers; here each pool consists of 1 connected asset such as RUNE, which is for example Bitcoin and THORChain's own asset. These are called Continuous Liquidity Pools because the RUNE found in each pool connects all pools in a single and continuous liquidity network.
